The A.P.C. Fall 2009 collection has been released in their online store. Along with it also comes the new tennis shoe. It is available in a white/beige colorway and an all brown colorway with gum sole. 
The silhouette reminds us of the Dior Homme sneaker, just a little more simple and about half the price, thus definitely a good deal!

We reported over the last weeks about the Fragment Design x Nike Tennis Classic Panda Pack,which Hiroshi Fujiwara designed right after the earthquakes in China. At the time he had already announced that the sneakers will be auctioned off and the money given to charity in order to support Chinese earthquake victims.
The shoes are now up on the Japanese auction site, thus we can show you some detailed images of both the black and the white colorway.

The Lacoste Tennis Mid was first introduced in the late 80’s and now it is coming back as part of the Lacoste Stealth collection. They updated the look of the sneaker by giving it some snake skin on the upper. That mixed with the black, orange and beige makes for a nice colorway. According to Sneaker Freaker, it will be released in August.

We present you the new Visvim Foley Folk, Visvim’s take of a tennis sneaker. It comes with a natural pigment free Italian calf upper, natural cork footbed and a hand sewn upper. The cow leather lining and the molded vegetable-tanned leather archsupport are other nice details, that set the brand clearly apart from anything else out there.
The Visvim Foley Folk comes in white/white, white/dark brown, white/green, white/navy and white/light blue. It is an exclusive to F.I.L. stores and has been released in Japan. Pics via HK5 Studio.

A.P.C. has released the Tennis sneaker as part of their Spring/Summer 2008 collection. The canvas sneaker comes in a blue and white colorway and only features a small A.P.C. tag in terms of details. The silhouette is very similar to the Vans Era.

Diadora first presented the Borg Elite Trainers in 1981. Since then the shoe is cult in tennis. Forget all the other tennis sneakers out there, this is the real thing, it does not get any more classic.
Oki-Ni has them now in stock in two colorways. More pics after the jump.

Australian tennis champ Rodney George ‘Rod’ Laver’s 1970 signature model has been a summer staple for casuals, b-boys and connoisseurs alike in one form or another since its debut. As part of the forthcoming Tournament range by adidas, this low profile silhouette retains the minimal branding that makes it such a timeless design, but offers a more resilient full-grain leather upper for a premium feel. An all-white midsole, green detailing for authentic court styling and laser etched tongue logo finishes a very limited package that’s easily as iconic as the other four shoes in the pack.

Tomorrow F.I.L. Sendai, the Visvim flagship store, will be celebrating its 1 year anniversary. For the celebrations some new footwear will be released. Part of the new Visvim Folk Series debuts and also the Visvim tennis sneaker will be coming out. Via Hiroki Nakamura.

The year was 1994 and Airwalk had an instant hit with the “Jim” trio. In true irreverent skate fashion, the “Jim” styles poked fun at more traditional sports, with a hi-top made from goosepimpled basketball rubber, a fuzzy low style fashioned from tennis-ball fabric, and a golf-inspired style (not pictured) with a dimpled toe. Though these styles have been relegated to the archives, there are still some pairs in existence, that Airwalk has released now. Look out for them and worst case scenario, you will have to look on eBay.

In February Lacoste goes with its Stealth collection back to its roots and presents with the Ardeu a very classic tennis sneaker with some nice details. The Ardeu will be released in the next couple of weeks in three colorways.
