A new colorway of the popular The North Face Purple Label Day Pack has released this week. A classic Norwegian knit pattern has been printed on the nylon outer shell of the backpack, which features light brown suede leather accents for reinforcement. The backpack is now in stock at Zozo.

Together they present exclusive colorways of several pieces of The North Face Purple Label collection, including a hooded down parka, down vest, down shirt and lightweight windrunner jacket. Once a year nanamica and The North Face Purple Label get together for The Roots Of Life initiative, an initiative that creates awareness for the life in the deep sea. As part of the project’s 5th volume, they present the Climbing ROL Windstopper Jacket. The jacket features a wool fabric upper, polyester lining, Windstopper layer, underarm vents and of course a graphic print on the lining that is inspired by the deep sea.

After having presented the Fleece Collection earlier this week, we present today The North Face Purple Label Down Outerwear products.

Next to some more standard down parkas and vests, the brand also offers this season a great 65/35 Down Mountain Parka, Reversible Primaloft Jackets, Down Shorts and Down Mufflers. Some of the pieces are too shiny for our taste, thus we would definitely go with the more subtle Down Mountain Parka.

By now we should be all aware that outdoor gear is as dominent in the fashion circus as ever. Brands such as White Mountaineering have perfected the style and classic outdoor brands such as The North Face also make a strong push into the market with special lines, such as their Purple Label collection.

The North Face Purple Label has just released for Fall/Winter 2011 a new fleece collection. Using interesting all-over patterns and patchwork designs, they offer everything from jackets, vests, to neck warmers, bags, shorts and blankets. These are all great pieces for layered outfits this season and they do not only look great, but also function well and will keep you warm.

Once again The North Face Purple Label releases some exciting new goods. This latest release includes the Climbing Bag and the Base Camp Duffle Bag. Both feature royal blue uppers, with most of the upper covered in kilim patterns, a very traditional and old pattern style, usually used on rugs. Both bags are now available from nanamica.

The North Face Purple Label keeps dropping great gear and it continues to drive us crazy, that the line is not available outside of Japan.

This week the brand releases the Mountain Wind Parka and matching Mountain Wind Vest, each in three colorways. The light weight pieces feature Pertex fabric uppers with patterned wool inserts on the shoulders for the added twist.

After having showcased the nanamica Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook a couple of weeks ago, we can present today a more detailed look at their new collection, focussing on product highlights.

Next to their own outerwear range, nanamica presents a fantastic luggage range, as well as collaborations with The North Face (The North Face Purple Label), Champion, Tricker’s, Russel Moccasin, Mark McNairy and Quilp. Overall a fantastic range of goods. We actually have a hard time choosing favorites, but once again the luggage has to be our personal primary choice.

From The North Face Purple Label Fall 2011 Collection we present the ‘Leopard’ medium daypack. The rather simple and classic backpack comes with a leopard pattern all over and beige suede bottom. Furthermore the brand tag is placed on the front and the backpack is lined in purple, making for a nice contrast. Kinetics has the backpack in stock now.

The North Face Purple Label has released the Camouflage Apparel Series. As part of the series they present a short sleeve shirt, cargo pants, and shorts. While keeping a clean khaki upper, a camouflage print has been placed all over the inside of the piece. The print shines through a little, resulting in a very subtle camouflage pattern to be seen on the outside.

Yes, more camo, but this time the bag features an ample amount of mesh panels, mixed with standard woodland camo canvas and tan suede accents. We like this one, for better or for worse.
