The North Face Purple Label has released a series of product using Harris Tweed fabrics on the upper. The range includes the Short Sierra Parka as well as the Sierra Vest and is complimented with the Medium Day Pack and the Funny Pack. All pieces feature wool uppers and 30D Pertex farbic, which is ultralight, water-resistant and breathable endurance fabric. Without those features it would not have been Purple Label.

From The North Face Purple Label new mid size backpacks have released. They come in overall 5 colorways with suede details on the upper and bottoms and of course feature the iconic purple label tag. The backpacks are now available from Anoutcommune.

A while back we previewed The North Face Purple Label Camouflage Luggage for Fall/Winter 2010. Now that Nanamica has released the complete series, we can show you some apparel pieces that came along with it. A Gore-Tex shell jacket and a fleece vest are also part of the camouflage series, which is now hitting stores.

Japan’s The North Face Purple Label has released a series of bags featuring the “Old Kilim Print”. Included in the release are a fanny pack and a backpack, both featuring premium suede leather details and of course the trademark purple logo tag. The bags are now available at Ark.

Another highlight comes from The North Face Purple Label. For Summer 2010 they present an all white bag collection. The bags feature white uppers and tonal white logo embroideries. Only the purple label tag sticks out. The bags are now available through nanamica.

Japanese brand nanamica continues to work with The North Face on the Purple Label Collection, which is exclusive to Japan. This month they present a new backpack, coming with a mixed nyon/leather construction and The North Face Purple Label logo tags. They are being released in Japan today. Via AC.

We are big fans of the work of nanamica. Not only does the Japanese company design The North Face Purple Label, but they also produce a respectable collection under their own name. At the core of the brand is the mix of classic styles with high technology. They make use of a lot of Gore-Tex materials, as well as other premium materials. The catalogue nicely demonstrates the drive to innovate, yet mixing it with easy to wear and classic silhouettes. The fireman coat and the Windstopper suites are our personal favorites.
