Early December Bedwin & The Heartbreakers and The North Face will release their second collaborative capsule collection. For Fall/Winter 2011 the two have worked on some nice jackets, as well as a backpack and some beanies. Bedwin infused some nice colors and patterns onto the staple The North Face items used as part of the collection.

Look out for a release at The North Face Standard in Tokyo and Bedwin retailers in the coming weeks.

Perfectly suited to carry around all your Apple products, The North Face has released the Bite20 Backpack. It fits 13 and 15 Inch Macbooks, your iPhone, as well as iPad, all at the same time. The backpack comes in black and a new grey colorway for the season, with robust uppers and waterproof zippers. Also you can carry it as a tote bag or as a backpack, making it perfect for the daily use.

Another week and another strong product collaboration is coming from New York’s Supreme. This Winter, Supreme has joined with The North Face to introduce the Nuptse Down Jacket and Rolling Thunder Bag.

The Nuptse Down Jacket features a printed water resistant nylon shell, mini ripstop weave with 700 Goose Down Fill. The Rolling Thunder Bag features a printed shell and a large main compartment with internal compression straps and top zip mesh pocket.

Both items will come in three different leopard colorways exclusively made for Supreme.

They will be available in-store in NY, LA, London and online on November 25th, 2011. In Japan they will drop on November 26th.

Once a year nanamica and The North Face Purple Label get together for The Roots Of Life initiative, an initiative that creates awareness for the life in the deep sea. As part of the project’s 5th volume, they present the Climbing ROL Windstopper Jacket. The jacket features a wool fabric upper, polyester lining, Windstopper layer, underarm vents and of course a graphic print on the lining that is inspired by the deep sea.

One can’t help but to think about outerwear when speaking about The North Face, but their 6″ Ballard Boot is something that can be a diversion from that thought process. Bows & Arrows picked up two colors of these highly durable offerings from TNF. In addition to being easy on the eyes, the boots feature HydroSeal waterproofing, so you can stomp around in these guys in a torrential downpour.

The North Face’s Japan operation continues on its winning ways, this time around here with this Bespoke Down Shirt done in collaboration with Nano Universe. This Harris tweed, down-filled number looks to be a great piece on those nights not cold enough to go parka status.

An interesting new sneaker is coming from The North Face for Fall/Winter 2011. The NSE Traction Chukka is a mid top sneaker, padded and with a camouflage upper design. The North Face adds a special outer sole and technical upper, making the sneaker not only nice looking, but of course also functional.

Once again eYe Junya Watanabe Comme des Garcons MAN teamed up as part of its Fall/Winter 2011 Collection with The North Face. As usual we love the outcome of the capsule collection, which consists this season of several beige and black shell jackets. All featuring Gore-TEx outer shells, the jackets come with waterproof zippers and corduroy accents in black or brown on the collars and pockets. The linings feature tartan patterns in red or green. Very solid looking jackets, that will serve you well this seasons and many going forward.

You can easily walk from Shibuya to Harajuku, as the two are connected and only one train stop away from each other. Some places are easier to find than others, but there are so many great shopping areas in the city to explore and we would not want to miss a single one of them.

Looking towards the impending cold, The North Face has released an impressive Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook. Mixing modern technical looks with throwback outdoor vibes, TNF does it better than most. The collection covers all bases with bags, jackets, caps, footwear and even tents.

Certain items like the bird printed vest (seen in our gallery) smell strongly of the much-coveted Purple Label, so either they’re mixing lines at The North Face, or to the joy of many, some of the pieces may be actually making their way into wider distribution.
