Comme  des Garcons Junya Watanabe MAN worked with The North Face on a couple of pieces for Fall/Winter 2009. Complementing their hunting and outdoor inspired offering of the season, they produced in collaboration with The North Face a vest in several colorways, as well as two coats. The North Face logos are embroidered tonal and nice details include cordoroy and leather patches through out the collection. The pieces are now available from Reinforce.

The North Face continues their collaboration with Taylor Design for Holiday 2009. Today they have released the Fleece Blouson and the Zip-Up Parka. Both come in several colorways. We especially like the Fleece Blouson, which comes with nice colorful highlights. Both pieces are now available from the honeyee.store.

Directed by Freak’s Store, LIKeEARTH is a line focused on green materials (such as organic or recycled). This season, The North Face Purple Label and LIKeEARTH joined forces on an organic canvas version of the Purple Label Mountain Parka. The jacket is offered in black with blue highlights or navy with red accents. A classic TNF backpack in navy and black was also produced in the same organic canvas. Now available from Freak’s Store.

Bigfoot One reworked classic silhouettes from The North Face, such as the Balaclava Hoodie, Venture Shell Jacket, and Hotshot Backpack. Combining key elements of TNF’s outdoor apparel with some of Bigfoot’s most iconic symbols and illustrations, we’re met with a collection that speaks on the power of nature. “The concept behind the design of this collection is to produce articles to make the wearer feel like they have entered an enchanted forest sanctuary, where they can become a Bigfoot and hold the power of the green lightning. The connection between Bigfoot and The North Face is the exploration of nature. The Bigfoots are masters of the forest, and in order for humans to explore at least a small percent of the forest, the right clothing and gear is needed to endure the elements and bring people closer to nature.” Asia Exclusive release.

Once again The North Face worked with Taylor Design on a Fall/Winter 2009 capsule collection. The collection consists of technical layer jackets, polar fleece jackets, as well as some nice classic looking puffy jackets. The collection is now available at Cueve.

Two great new jackets are coming from The North Face. They updated the Swallow Tail Jacket and gave it a checker pattern in two colorways. The lightweight shell jacket comes in a black/white and a red/white checker pattern. Look out for a release soon. Via Honeyee.

The North Face continues their collaboration with Taylor Design and this season they present a solid line-up of shell jackets. The colors are especially interesting and definitely pop, while having all the right details. The Waterproof Blouson comes in three solid colors and in one multicolor design. Once again The North Face get together with Taylor Design to collaborate on a small capsule collection. This seasons collaboration between the two is much more colorful than what we have seen before and we like that. They worked on a couple of technical jackets, t-shirts and some down vests.

Last week we gave you a first preview of the new The North Face x Swagger technical jackets that will soon release. Today we can show you some lookbook images of the collaboration, showcasing all colorways and fits of the jackets. Compared to previous collaborations, Swagger keeps it rather simple this time, presenting jackets in solid red, yellow and blue, as well as black/white checker.

After several previews in the last couple of weeks, we can finally give you some more detailed information on the release of the Supreme x The North Face Denali Jackets.

Designed with 300 series Polartec® fleece on the body, and abrasion-reinforced shoulders and elbows, a rugged jacket made for the outdoors. Supreme will release three new color ways of The North Face Denali Jacket.

The North Face Denali Jacket will be released in-store December 11th, Japan December 13th & online December 15th.
