After an initial preview during Bread & Butter in January, we finally get a nice and detailed look at the upcoming Penfield x The Reed Space Rockford Jacket. It comes with black goat skin leather details on the shoulders and pockets, an emergency orange lining, leather Reed Space arm patch and some silkscreen details on the lining. The jacket is now available at The Reed Space and other fine retailers.

After Reed Pages, The Reed Space introduced another interesting product – Reedwrite. Reedwrite is their own new stationary collection. The collection consists of notebooks, journals, diaries, sketchbooks, pens and pencils. The first piece from the collection to be released is a blank sheet notebook, featuring a suede cover with a blind embossed Reedwrite logo on the front cover. More to come from the collection very soon.

The Reed Space in New York will be hosting the launch of the new England Kit by Umbro and Aitor Throup. Reed Space Annex has been completely transformed into a new space to present the kit. Also Umbro has customized 50 pieces for The Reed Space, all featuring the “Tailored for Reed Space” embroidery on the chest. The special space will be opening on 29th of March, one day after the official revealing of the new team kit. Via Jeff Staple.

Last night the NYC launch party of All Gone 2008 took place at The Reed Space in New York. Our man Philip was there for the occasion and took some nice pics from the evening. A lot of familiar faces showed up to the party.

After giving you a first look at the upcoming Reed Space x Head Porter PRISM collection we can now show you the full line. It consists of a travel organizer, gadget pouch, note case, pen case, PC day pack, PC case 13-inch and PC case 15-inch. 
All smaller cases will actually fit into the day pack backpack, making it a nice set. Expect this to be released very soon. Via Honeyee .

This season The Reed Space run by Staple Design worked with Head Porter on a luggage collection, called PRISM. The collection will consists of different bags and pouches each coming in a different color and soon you will find out that they nicely go one with another.
Jeff Staple gives us some first teaser images and it looks like, the PRISM collection will be released in the coming week.

The relationship between Converse and John Varvatos continues to result in quality releases. Six new Jack Purcells have dropped at The Reed Space, each focusing on material and subtle contrast.

Some first pieces of the new Stussy Deluxe Spring 2008 collection have landed at The Reed Space. They got in a short sleeve shirt and a lightweight biker style jacket. The shirt seems to have quite a slim fit. The jacket comes in a light blue/white checker pattern with short collar. As usual the pieces come with lots of small details, all kept very subtle. We are looking forward to see more of the new collection.

Premium skateboard brand Manik got together with legendary photographer Craig Wetherby. The result is a small collection of goods, all carrying the work of the photographer. The collection consists of t-shirts, a crewneck sweater and also two skateboard decks.

Some of you might already have heard or seen this t-shirt, here now some info on it. A while back Plain Gravy released a t-shirt with the slogan “Pharrell Can’t Skate” on it, hinting the involvement of Pharrell with the Ice Cream Skate team and in the streetwear business in general. It was a huge hit.
About 2-3 week ago the “Fujiwara Can’t Ride Fixed” t-shirt turned up. Black t-shirt, same font as the Pharrell one. For some reason it was obvious to most people that it did not come again from Plain Gravy. Only 24 hours after it had been shown to some friends of the designers it actually turned up on the personal blog of Hiroshi Fujiwara on Honeyee. This tee is an ironic take on the hype around fixed gear biking all around the world and Tokyo specifically and Hiroshi Fujiwaras involvement in the scene. It seems like the t-shirt is made by the designer “Hendrie”.
