TomTom GPS systems has added a couple of more characters from The Simpsons – they already have Homer – to their special guest voices for their navigation apps. You can now cruise around while Marge and Mr. Burns assist you as you navigate through unfamiliar territory. Check out TomTom for information.

With the help of Kidrobot, the creator of The Simpsons, Matt Groening, is seen for the first time in toy form. This 6″ tall vinyl toy release coincides with The Simpsons’ 500th episode that is set to air in February, hitting retail on February 9, 2012 for $50.00.

The Simpsons certainly get their fare share of remixing. Today we come across the latest one – the iconic cartoon characters appear on some famous movie posters, that were remixed by designer Claudia-R. The artist shows us what popular movies such as The Matrix, A Clockwork Orange, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and a whole gang of others would look like if they all starred The Simpsons. Although these are parodies and would never happen, it would still be awesome to see Nelson and Bart square off in The Bart Night.

Complex has compiled a great list of historical art references that have appeared in The Simpsons over the years. You would be surprised how many great painters and artists have appeared in one way or another in the show.

Santa Cruz presents a fun series of skateboard cruisers in collaboration with The Simpsons. Featured in the series are a Bart board, Homer board, The Simpsons board and two Duff Beer boards. The deck series is now available from NHS Fun Factory.

Last October a Simpsons episode by UK graffiti artist Banksy has been released with much talk around it. Today the artist updated his portfolio website and along with the update showcases the storyboards of The Simpsons episodes. Take a full look here.

For the second time Kidrobot has teamed up with The Simpsons and presents the Mini Series 2 of vinyl toys.

Banksy has posted up an intro to the Simpsons on his website, showcasing the iconic characters and scenery, enhanced with some of his artwork. It looks like this is an official collaboration with the show, this time infused with the dark humour of the artist. Check it out!

This coming Sunday, January 10th, The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special “In 3-D! On Ice!” will air. For the occasion, Ron English was commissioned to paint a variation on his Homer/Jackson Pollack motif… in 10 seconds. An interesting collaboration between The Simpsons and one of our favorite artists. Make sure to watch the episode.
