Thom Browne caught us by surprise with his new Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. The line is fresh, different and takes a new direction. Of course the designer maintains the looks that he is known for, yet he experiments much more with new materials and also with more sporty styles. Bold polka dot patterns and all-over designs are features in the collection, next to nylon blazers and other interesting pieces. In our mind this has to be the most radical collection by the designer to date.

After much anticipation first pieces from the Thom Browne designed Moncler Gamme Bleu Fall/Winter 2009 Collection have been released. The brand has been on the up for a couple of seasons now and impresses with this new range once again. Thom Browne added some much needed casual style to the brand, making it also off the ski piste a hit. Classic materials and colors mixed with modern cuts make up the line. First releases includes gloves, beanies, scarfs, as well as puffy vests and jackets, that the brand is so well known for. The Moncler Gamme Bleu Fall/Winter 2009 Collection is now available at colette.

These past days Thom Browne has presented the first ever Moncler Gamme Bleu Spring/Summer collection for 2010. The New York designer already turned heads during his Pitti presentation last season and once again he impresses with a great presentation. For the collection he had again a series of models march up and in this case swim to present the summer range of the high end collection of Moncler.

We present you the new Gamme Bleu collection by Moncler. The line was designed by guest designer Thom Browne and we think that he could not have translated his aesthetics better into a winter sports collection. The colors, cuts, it is definitely 100% Thom Browne. Images via WWD.

Usually we do not cover Thom Browne here and leave that to Selectism. But we thought we’d at least give you a look at the designers Spring/Summer 2009 tennis inspired pieces that have just been released. The tennis racket and tennis ball pattern appears on many pieces of the collection and Thom Browne of course went all the way and also offers tennis socks, head band and wrist band along with the clothing. If you want to boost your game at least in terms of looks, this is something you might want to consider. The buttons of the cuffs of the cardigan are great. If you look a bit closer, the lining of the button line is the very same that we recently saw on the Converse Jack Purcell designed by Thom Browne.

The Thom Browne Spring/Summer 2009 collection has started arriving at colette, who will also be hosting a shop-in-shop for the line as of January 17th.

Not only Mastermind Japan, Number (N)ine and Libertines worked with Converse, also NYC designer Thom Browne participates in the 100th anniversary celebrations. He worked on the Jack Purcell and gave it a great woven upper. The lining comes in suede, sole and toe cap in white, keeping an overall clean look.

This is definitely one of our favorite collaborations so far in the collection. Via CF.
