A solid silhouette comes from the Timberland Abington Collection – the Boat Deck shoe. The shoe is basically a mid top boat shoe with a solid outer sole, featuring leather or suede uppers with the Abington brand embossed on the upper. The thick contrasting stitching is also a nice detail.

Selectism is embracing the Autumn/Winter season even if the brand’s still call it Fall. Timberland’s offshoot Abington line have “stuck with what more flowery blogs might call ‘their original vision’, keeping the vibram sole as a main feature of the range. Abington by Timberland hits hanon again for Spring/Summer 2010. The new drop includes seasonal styles such as the above 3 Eye boat Wedge in two rugged suede options. Like a boat shoe, but tougher. We like.

We get a first look at the Timberland Abington Spring 2010 Collection. The Abington line by Timberland has certainly opened a new market for the brand, which was previously better known for more rugged footwear. For Spring 2010 they present a solid line-up of mid top boots, as well as some nice looking boat shoes.
