Medicom ‘Bearbrick World Wide Tour 2′ Collection – fragment design, Stussy & More

Medicom 'Bearbrick World Wide Tour 2' Collection - fragment design, Stussy & More

From December 3rd until December 12th, Medicom will be hosting their second Bearbrick World Wide Tour. Hosted at Shibuya Parco in Tokyo, the toy maker has worked with numerous designers and brand to showcase special designs of their iconic Bearbrick toy.

Large 1000% and 400% Bearbricks entirely made out of wood, in collaboration with fragment design, Stussy, A Bathing Ape, Mickey Mouse, TokiDoki and others will be on display at the show. The Hiroshi Fujiwara designed fragment version is certainly among the most interesting, next to the 1000% all wooden version, which can only cost a small fortune. The 200% metal Baby Milo toy together with A Bathing Ape is also nice.

Take a look at all the Bearbrick toys to be launched at the event after the jump.

Tokidoki x Onitsuka Tiger Fabre

Tokidoki were one of the first to do a legit LeSportSac collab, and although the aesthetic is very Hello Kitty, these dudes reside in Italy. An interesting establishment. Now they’re working with Onitsuka Tiger on the mid cut Fabre sneaker. Tokidoki’s signature characters adorn every facet of these from the sole to the lining and everywhere in between. Take this as a “wider look at the market”. We would never wear these. But hey, for a certain someone? These may be the kicks you’ve been waiting for. Spotted at ripe.

The K Collection by Karl Lagerfeld will also come out with matching t-shirts, featuring the character version of the designer. Via WWD.

The relationship between Onitsuka Tiger and Tokidoki continues this season with two low top sneakers in white and light grey. We appreciate the more subtle design that in the first line-up, with most graphics this time being placed in the lining and on the outer sole. A few character show up on the upper and the sneakers also come with a Tokidoki lacelock.

The Onitsuka Tiger x Tokidoki Spring 2009 Sneakers are now available at Ripe.

More images follow after the jump.
