After Paris, the STAGES exhibition, a joint effort by Nike Sportswear and Lance Armstrong’s Livestrong foundation, has opened its doors in New York this week. Once again artists including Tom Sachs, Jose Parla, Kenny Scharf, Shepard Fairey, Kaws, JR, Richard Prince, Andreas Gursky and other art heavy hitters, were represented with custom works in the exhibition.

Lodown will soon celebrate the release of their new issue 68. The new issue comes with an exclusive cover by artist Tom Sachs, as well as an interview with the artist. Yesterday, we showed you the Tom Sachs x Hello Kitty Obama t-shirt. Today, showing there is more than just political stumping to the collaboration, we’ve got some images of the Tom Sachs’ crying Kitty’s from their new Paris home. These are installed at the base of the Eiffel Tower temporarily, in conjunction with Sachs’ show at Galerie Thaddaeos Ropac.

Yet another support t-shirt for Obama comes and this time by artist Tom Sachs. The artist recently presented a series of large scale Hello Kitty sculptures. The t-shirt features a drawing by the artist of Hello Kitty and the Eiffel tower on the front. On the back it features “Obama 08″.
