The CLOT x Disney ‘Man in the Forest’ Travelling Mickey exhibition recently had its first stop in Shanghai. CLOT asked a series of artists and designers to present custom versions of the iconic cartoon character. The line-up of participating artists includes Dr. Romanelli, Madsaki, Andre, Cassette Playa, Mr. Cartoon, Eric So, Mr. Azuma, CLOT themselves and other outstanding artists.

Swatch has teamed up with Kidrobot, to create Kidrobot for Swatch, a collection of eight watches, each accompanied by a complimentary Dunny. Dunny is Kidrobot’s iconic and highly collectible bunny-like vinyl toy, a customizable canvas for artists from widely varying backgrounds. Gary Baseman, Jeremyville, Frank Kozik, Joe Ledbetter, MAD, Tara McPherson, SSUR, and Tilt are the eight extraordinary artists who have contributed to the new collection, each with a characteristic design for a Gent and its accompanying 3-inch (7.6 cm) Dunny.

After their recent ‘Casting Shadows’ toy box set, Coarse is back with the ‘Casting Shadows Switch To Fall’ box set, in time for the new season.

As usual Coarse does not stop as simply producing a toy, but rather creating an entire small world around it. The outcome is as usual beautiful and perfectly executed. The box set goes on sale July 18th, 2011.

adFunture worked together with G-Shock on a series of 4 figures for summer. “The series entitled “Master of G” has its design concept directly linked to 4 G-Shock iconic watch models; Gulfman, Mudman, Frogman and Riseman. Here’s the #001 model code-named DEEP SEA based on the Gulfman watch.”

Medicom Toy’s Be@rbrick has teamed up with Swedish label Happy Socks to release a collaborative bear and matching sock set. The project is scheduled to launch on July 6th, 2011. Check out their microsite for more information.

Zac Pac and artist Ron English team up to bring his iconic ‘Grin’ toy characteristics to the Bearbrick by Medicom. The 100% toy comes with a nice two sided graphic and releases this month.

Releasing tomorrow is the new Original Fake KAWS JPP Keyholder. It comes in yellow and in black, the same colors that the KAWS JPP toy came in a couple of years ago.

Having been a supporter of wrestling for a while already, A Bathing Ape and Nigo have entered the wrestling circus with their own fighter last year. 2011 they commemorate the fighter with an action figure and t-shirt release, dropping July 23rd at all Bape stores.

The YOD character by Amos Toys will release in a new wooden version. We have seen wooden toys from Kaws over the last couple of years and once again we have to say that we really like the combination of a playful modern character toy with the more traditional looks of wood. Handmade, the toy will release July 2nd in the Amos Toy online store, limited to only 30 pieces.

The next round of Original Fake KAWS character key holders will be released this coming weekend. This time the Kaws JPP character comes in the miniature key holder version in the same colorways that the original toy came in. Furthermore they present two t-shirts along with the release, all coming out on June 25th, 2011.
