Triumvir presents their new Spring 2009 Lookbook – The Civil War Collection. The California based brand presents a nice line-up of t-shirts, flannel shirts, selvege denim, jackets and fitted caps. Colors are very much in the black and white with accents of red this season. Once again graphics of the season were inspired by historic empires and the changes in civilizational structures.

Dimming the lights to present a more intimate and contributive project, Triumvir brings forth a collaboration with the University of Southern California’s Chinese American Student Association (CASA) for their upcoming Culture Show. A project that will be a joint effort in support of their upcoming musical, Unforgettable which premieres on March 7th for one night only.

Hidden by the glitz and glamour of Shanghai during the mid 1930’s, the plot mirrors the turmoil, moral corruption and emotions caused by the brink of the 2nd Sino Japanese War. 
The collaboration will include 2 limited edition t-shirts, with design concepts that were derived from The Flying Tigers; the first American Volunteer Group of the Chinese Air Force, as well as The Father of Modern China and political leader; Sun Yat-Sen.

The two Triumvir x USC CASA t-shirts will be released this week.

The Triumvir x Street Fighter Shadaloo Collection will be released in the near future. Today we can give you a detailed look at some of the stand-out cut-and-sew pieces of the collection.

The Shadaloo Collection will be releasing online and at a few selected accounts on December 19th, 2008. At the heart of the Shadaloo Collection is the black on black M-65 Jacket, black raw selvedge denim, a slim-fit hood, and six new additional tees. Akiman’s artwork will be featured on some of the tees. The Shadaloo M-65 jacket is limited to 100 pieces and the raw denim is limited to 80 pieces.

An interesting project will be releasing soon in China, that involved the Chinese skate stores Fly and Cali brand Triumvir. Together they worked with Nike SB on the “Beijing” Dunk Mid.

“The inspiration and concept of the shoe was based on “a Beijing native’s perspective of their own city, with the slogan skate towards Tienanmen Square.” The Dunk Mid is going to be a special edition for fly’s Beijing shop and the first Nike shoe ever to be named after China’s great northern metropolis, “Beijing.” We were asked to incorporate the following categories of what Beijing is known for into the design of the shoe: dust, traffic, highways, noodles, Tienanmen Square, and the capital of China.

The Dunk Mid was chosen to represent Beijing because Jeff loves to skate in Dunk Mids. We suggested using premium tumbled leather for the black panels. The gray tones were used to symbolize the colors of the city’s high-rises and highways. The graphic on the insole is a combination of flystreetwear x triumvir’s logo.”

In memory of the events that took place on September 11th 2001, Triumvir will be pre-releasing one of their fall tees -” 9/11”, in a limited “patriotic” color-way (red/wht/blu print). The pack will also include three buttons alongside the 9/11 tee. Proceeds will be donated to Families of September 11th.

We present you the Triumvir Fall/Winter 2008 collection, entitled "The Spoils Of War". Triumvir presents next to their usual set of t-shirts and caps a nice set of cut & sew items. The collection offers M-65 jackets, quilted hoodies, denim jackets and much more. "The Spoils Of War" as you might have imagined comes in a dark theme, which is clearly reflected in all pieces of the collection.

Today we present you an interesting collaboration effort between hardcore band Internal Affairs, the infamous artist James Marshall, aka Dalek and Triumvir. The Internal Affairs’ album drop will be released on 12” LP’s that will come in four different colors – black for general release, clear for Triumvir, blue for Internal Affairs and green for Dalek. For this release, the pack will consist of the 12” LPs as mentioned before and a limited edition Dalek Tee. All the album and T-shirt artwork were created anddesigned by James Marshall. All products released are produced by Triumvir.
The Internal Affairs x Dalek x Triumvir pack will be released today at Versus
Fresh, Standard, Shoe Gallery, Suru, Avenue, Capsule, Just Be Complex, Tradition, Deathwish and Rev Records. The t-shirts are limited to 100 and 150 pieces worldwide.

Anticipated by many over the last couple of months, we present you today the firstdrop of the Triumvir x Street Fighter collaboration – the Shadaloo "Crime Syndicate" Pack. This first collection with Street Fighter will be based around Vega’s (M.Bison) crime syndicate “Shadaloo”.
The Shadaloo “Crime Syndicate” pack comprises of a t-shirt and fitted cap (made by Estate LA) which will lead up to the main Shadaloo Collection in later Fall 2008. There are two color variations for this quick pre-collection drop; red/royal blue and black. The Vega (Mr. Bison) red/royal blue version will be exclusively released at Comic Con. Both the caps and the t-shirts are limited to 200 pieces worldwide. Expect the black t-shirt and fitted caps to be available soon at Triumvir retailers and in their online store.

Some of you probably remember the Broken Halos collection and the political history behind what used to be the Anaheim Angels. Triumvir brought out a couple of caps and t-shirts on the theme a couple of months ago. Now they extent the series and are about to release new colorways and fitted caps in collaboration with Estate LA. There will be a navy blue set as well as a yellow set, both releasing on July 9th.

As part of their Summer ‘08 collection, Triumvir presents a series of limited edition accessories. In the line-up you find skatedecks, fold-up deck chairs, lighters and also a pvc coin pouch. In terms of design the accessory line is kept simple and most of them only come with the company logo. Both the skatedeck and the chairs are actually free with purchase.
