Today we present the result of a beautiful collaboration between denim brand Denham and Scottish furniture makers Method. Inspired the history of traveling, Method constructed a beautiful steamer trunk for the jeanmaker. Both light weight and extremely robust, the birch lined trunk is outfitted with everything a jeanmaker could need. Handcut leather handles and the 200 interconnected traditional joints are only a few of the outstanding details that can be found on the trunk.

After previously creating trunks for Bang & Olufson sound systems, books, Air Jordan collections and more, French trunk maker Pinel & Pinel presents their new Arcade 80s Trunk. The new trunk houses 60 classic game titles ranging from Pac Man to Space Invaders and is made of wood, calfskin leather and croc skin, depending on your choice. It also features an iPhone/iPod dock sound system.

Ahead of 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™, which kicks off on 11th June, Louis Vuitton today unveiled the travel case it has created to hold football’s greatest prize, the FIFA World Cup Trophy.

Commissioned by FIFA, the special order case, handmade by a single master craftsman in Louis Vuitton’s historic Asnières workshop near Paris, has been meticulously designed to accommodate the celebrated Trophy, which measures 36 cm in height, weighs 6.175 kg and is made of solid 18-carat gold with a base of semi-precious malachite. Covered in Louis Vuitton’s iconic Monogram canvas, the travel case is fitted with the company’s signature brass lock and corners, and has a dark brown lining that complements the Trophy’s rich gold.

Like all Louis Vuitton special orders, the FIFA World Cup Trophy case was made at the company’s original workshop in Asnières, which opened in 1859. The case opens at the front and at the top to allow the Trophy to be removed easily when, at the final on 11th July in Johannesburg, watched by many millions of people across the globe, it will be presented.

The Louis Vuitton trunk has always been a special and somewhat timeless item and even today, the French heritage brand manages to revamp it in new ways. The latest one to come out is the Casino Trunk. The name says it all – for you next casino evening or poker round with friends, all you need is the LV casino trunk, which comes with all the equipment needed for the various games. The trunk was produced in celebration of the brand’s latest Macao flagship store, along with some other items.

Here comes another item from The Black Sense Market initiative by Sense Magazine from Japan. They worked with Goyard on a small trunk, which comes in a black colorway with black leather poping and numerous nice print details. A release date or production number of the trunk is not available.
