Twelve Bar will be releasing two styles of their slim fit Cerrone Selvage Denim beginning of next month.

The Cerrone Brownstone Selvage Denim is a new wash of our slim fit denim constructed from the finest 12.5 oz Japanese selvage denim. Starting life as a raw black denim it has been washed, softened and finished under the California sun to a brownstone color making it the perfect pair of denim for Summer. Featuring the Twelve Bar “Heart” logo on the back left pocket it contains all the attention to detail people have come to expect from Twelve Bar including colored shanks, branded rivets and checkerboard pocket bags.

Cerrone Indigo Vintage Selvage Denim

When you put on a pair of the Cerrone Indigo Vintage Selvage Denim, you’ll be amazed how soft they feel for a 12.5oz Japanese selvage denim. Starting out with raw indigo denim, we washed the slim fit jeans while grinding the pockets and the hems and applied some careful whiskering techniques in the finest California laundries to create the perfect vintage pair. The concealed rivets on the back pockets peek through as a result and the Twelve Bar Co patch, the “Heart” logo on the back left pocket and the checkerboard pocket bags have all been weathered and worn to exact proportions.”

The Twelve Bar online store and select retailers will be carrying the denim early June.

While it has been a little quite around Twelve Bar these past months, the brand is getting ready for several releases this summer, starting with a fresh line-up of t-shirts. Next week 4 new t-shirts will be released in the Twelve Bar online store and at select retailers. The t-shirts pay tribute to Betty Davis, Missoni, as well as 50s and 60s Rock ‘N Roll and R & B posters. Look out for a release soon and take a more detailed look at all new tees after the jump.

Twelve Bar has released their latest New Era cap today – the “Stealth” New Era. It is the first New Era cap to be made of Nubuck and its fabrication and color is inspired by the original black Jordan V sneaker. Limited to 100 pieces only with a Number 12 applique on the front and our heart logo embroidered on the back this is the perfect cap to keep your head warm for the winter.

A nice and solid New Era cap with a premium feel, mainly due to the suede upper. The cap is now exclusively available in the Twelve Bar online store.

This fall and holiday season Twelve Bar have really hit the season on the head. Great knits lead the way. The Ellison cardigan has a classic shawl collar and reinforced suede elbow patches. For shirts, the Majors Selvedge uses antique snaps on a western style. Jackets, again, prove one of Twelve Bars strengths, especially when they work with various styles of windbreaker. The Browning Windbreaker is pictured above.

We take a first look at the Twelve Bar Spring 2009 collection. The brand continues to develop their cut & sew, which has substantially increased and now makes up the majority of the collection. We still remember the days when the Twelve Bar suitcase turned up, that they used to show their first t-shirt series with and it is great watching them grow and seeing where they are now.

The Spring 2009 collection offers shirts, shorts, jackets, knitwear, fleece and more. Most impressed we are by the large portion of knitwear that the new collection has – much more than all other brands that we see in this category. From heavily knitted tennis pullovers to wool cardigans and vests there is everything represented in the collection.

Twelve Bar and Sinful Things got together to collaborate on a t-shirt. The tee features Joyce Lex, the owner of Sinful Things, covered in whipped cream and references the classic Herb Alpert album cover. The t-shirt will soon be released in the Twelve Bar online store as well as at Twelve Bar retailers.

Twelve Bar has finally released their New Era caps. They come in premium suede on the upper and feature large 3D embroideries with the brands slogan. The cap comes in black and grey and is now available in their online store.

We give you a detailed look at the Twelve Bar Fall ‘08 collection. In the past couple of seasons the brand has evolved a lot and we can easily say that their Fall ‘08 offering is the largest to date. The collection consists of jackets, t-shirts, denim, chinos, shirts, caps and more. Especially the jackets and knitwear jumped into our eyes, some instant classics and the Twelve Bar heart logo is well placed. 
Twelve Bar gave the collection a good balance of solid cut & sew and graphical t-shirts. Also the New Era caps of the collection are looking nice, coming in suede with large embroideries over several panels.

Twelve Bar has designed a limited edition t-shirt for the Mighty Mic Human Rights Awareness concert to be held on the UCLA Campus in Los Angeles on May 29th 2008. 100 % of the proceeds of the shirt sale will go towards a mobile clinic for a refugee camp that services Darfurian refugees and STAND (Student Anti-Genocide Coalition Network).

Mighty Mic approached Twelve Bar to design the t-shirt because of their slogan, “It’s All Love.”  The shirt has the Twelve Bar heart logo filled with images of the children from Darfur.  The t-shirts will be sold at the concert and in bookstores at the UCLA campus.

Mighty Mic is a 9-day event held on the Westwood Campus of UCLA, consisting of Genocide Awareness Week and a concert for Human Rights Awareness.  Mighty Mic is founded by a group of UCLA students dedicated to social justice and human rights.  This year’s concert headliners will be OK Go, Zion I, Rock & Roll and Rhymefest.

Twelve Bar has nicely developed over the last years and made especially big steps in the last 12 months or so. Here we give you a look at the new Summer 2008 collection, which will be hitting stores some time beginning of next month.
The Summer 2008 collection consists of denim, line-up of shirts, short- and longsleeve shirts, and of course t-shirts. The brand has managed to build a strong brand identity and we especially like the Polo inspired pieces in the new collection, such as the Rugby Shorts.
