For the second time this season, Head Porter Plus has teamed up with Ubiq on some sneakers. After keeping it more simple the first time around, they now present the Standard Dot. The mid top sneaker comes in three polka dot colorways with a white leather toe cap and small HP+ logo embroidery on the heel. A release of the sneakers is scheduled for January 2012.

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Harris Tweed, UBIQ has produced two all tweed versions of their eL mid-top slip-on. In addition to quilted tweed uppers and a large Harris Tweed tag, the shoe also features a white cup sole, leather dual-ring strap closure and leather piping. Comes in black or brown.

For Fall/Winter 2011 luggage and clothing label Head Porter Plus teams up with Ubiq on a couple of sneakers. As part of the collaboration they present the Standard Lo and Standard Hi sneakers. For Fall/Winter 2011, Silas gets together with Japanese designer Jun Watanabe and Ubiq to produce a classic Chukka Boot. The boot comes with a special tongue tag and lining print, as well as a Vibram outer sole. It will be available from Silas in October 2011, in two suede colorways.

After previously having worked with fragment design on a denim collection, Japanese brand Vanquish presents a new collaboration with footwear brand Ubiq. They worked on the Grace Mid sneaker in three colorways. Two sneakers come with suede uppers, the third with a clean leather upper, and all three feature white leather linings and a striped ribbon detail on the heel.

Though not as well known as many of their contemporaries, Cedar Crest is a historic American footwear label, founded in Tennessee in 1925. Aligning with Japanese sneaker imprint UBIQ, the two created a soft suede boot with heel and tongue details representative of the UBIQ “FATIMA” model. Finished with the much lauded Vibram soles. Comes out mid-September through atmos.
