As part of the Ubiq Autumn/Winter 2007 collection the Grace will be released very soon in a new make-over. This time the sneaker has been inspired by the native theme. Geometrical patterns are placed on the outer sole and the inner sole to reflect that. The Grace comes this season in a mix of premium leather and suede on the back. It will be released very soon in 5 colorways – black, purple, blue, green, beige.

Japanese brand rehacer and Ubiq got together on a collaboration on the Fatima, our favorite Ubiq sneaker to date. This time the Ubiq Fatima comes with an all premium leather upper. It almost looks like the elk leather that Visvim is known to use a lot. Not only the upper comes in leather, also the laces are leather. The rehacer x Ubiq Fatima come in black and white and were released in Japan today.

Japanese sneaker brand Ubiq started to release part of their Fall 2007 collection – The Vaget. It’s a new hi-top sneaker in their collection which comes in three colorways in a worn out style – white, black and burgundy. It is their interpretation of a classic hi-top basketball boot. They are now available at Chapterworld.

The Ubiq crew from Japan is once again up to something special. They now released the info on Zozo about their upcoming Batman x Ubiq Fatima collaboration. The Fatima has always been our favorite Ubiq sneaker and now they present it covered in Batman comic strips. There are two versions – one colorful version and one black/white version. For Batman fans and sneaker fans this is definitely something special. The sneakers also come in special packaging.
The Batman x Ubiq collaboration will be released on the 31rst of August. Check out detailed pictures of both sneakers after the jump.

Just recently we showed you the Ubiq x Atmos collaboration, where they also brought out a series of eL model with special colorways and materials. Next in line for a collaboration was Chapterworld, actually a store belonging to the same folks as Atmos.
The Chapterworld eL comes in four colorways – black, red, white and brown. They feature a quilted upper and tonal faux crocodile accents. The contrasting inner linings also look good. Probably the best eL we have seen so far, thus hopefully Ubiq as a brand will soon be better represented outside of Japan, as it is really hard to get hold of them at this point.

Once again Japanese store Atmos and sneaker brand Ubiq joined forces, this time to collaborate on the eL. They present a line-up of three sneakers all having a quilted upper. The sneakers come in black, white and purple and feature a pin-stripe insert on the sides, which is a nice touch.
Expect these to dop in August exclusively at Atmos. Check uot detailed pictures of all three after the jump.

In recent months we more and more report about the Japanese sneaker brand Ubiq. Along with other interesting brands such as Visvim, Common Projects, Clae they set new trends and take a different approach in a market that was always entirely taken by the big players. The outcome is innovative footwear that is sometimes just a small improvement to the existing classics and other times something completely new.
The Vaget by Ubiq, that we show you today falls into the category of re-interpretations in our mind. Close to other basketball sneakers in the market, Ubiq takes their own approach. It will be released as part of their Supring/Summer 2007 collection in August and comes in three colorways – white, black, burgundy. All of them come in a used look with cracked leather and other nice small details. Something to look out for and to stand out with !
