It has been quite around UK brand Zoltar The Magnificent in the past months, but it seems like they are gearing up for Spring/Summer 2008. The brand has updated their webiste and gives us a first look at what there is to come. In typical Zoltar style you can expect loud colors and strong graphics with strong messages on top quality clothing, including hoodies, t-shirts, cashmere sweaters, denim, jackets and many accessories.
The brand has been kind of absent, but we are really excited to see them back in stores. It’s definitely one of those brands that you have to hunt down to find it, but it’s worth it. Check out some outfits out of their Spring/Summer 2008 collection after the jump.

Here a little preview of an upcoming New Era Artist Project collaboration. This time the cap company teamed up with UK artist C-Law. Most of you should know him from his various Addict collaborations, as well as from his recent Adidas collaboration.

Usually we see his C-Law camouflage on his items, this time he chose another design. The cap comes in a beige colorway and it looks like it is entirely covered in cashmere. We do not have any information so far on the release, but will definitely keep you posted!

UK label Griffin got together with Kickers to create a small collection of collaborative sneakers. They took the Kickers Lo and the Kickers Hi to add their very own Griffin flair. The outcome are two white sneakers and two brown sneakers. Both come in premium leathers and with laser engraved graphics on the side of the sneakers. Left and right shoe always feature a different color on the outer sole and the mix of premium leathers used on the sneakers gives them a good look. Overall simple, but definitely interesting. They are now available in the Griffin online store.

We have presented part of the Garbstore collection a while back and have waited for its release with impatience. Garbstore aspires to be and draws it’s influence from what can be coined Unfamiliar Vintage. Created by former One True Saxon founder Ian Paley, Garbstore is based on Ian’s passion for deadstock vintage clothing. Original fabrics, button details, zips and zip pulls, plantation indigo denim and subtle references pay homage to the craftsmanship tailoring of days past whilst designs and patterns are re-imagined and made into pieces that are ‘historically new’. Look out for subtleties such as US talon zips, 5 needle double neck tees, 3 hole button detailing and pants tailored with 50’s griptape.
Hanon has received the Fall/Winter 2007 Collection and its looks great. From a classic shirt, baseball jacket, hunting jacket, denim, t-shirt to a technical shell jacket there is everything in the collection. This might actually be the first European collection that can compete in terms of quality and style with the high end Japanese brands that we report about so regularly.

Just last week we presented you the Puma Bespoke Collection, which combines classic Puma styles with English tradition, materials and handcraft. The collection, which consists of handmade sneakers, hoodies and caps is now available exclusively online at Oki-Ni.

Swedish denim brand Julian Red got together with Gravis Footwear to create a collection that brings together the strengths of each one of the brands. That meant for Julian Red to create the denim and for Gravis to create the sneakers. They chose the Gravis Lodown sneaker which has a dark yet romantic highlights in the form of a rose/asphalt pattern on the insole and heel. The upper of the sneaker is all white and the leather laces as well. The washed denim features an interesting reddish/pink weft. Available now at stores such as Fooasylum, Dogfish, Klog, Soi77 and Schindler in the UK. Via Hypebeast.

Slam City Skates, one of the UK’s finest skateboard stores, has released some more t-shirts of their own. This time they worked with artist Arran Gregory on the Bear Safe t-shirt. The tee features a massive bear graphic over the front and the Slam City Skates logo. It comes in several colorways and is available now.
Also the store announced an upcoming New Era collaboration fitted cap. The cap comes in black and features a simple 3D embroidered “S” on the front panels. More on the release soon.

Zozotown has released parts of the new Carhartt UK collection. Part of the drop were the Carhartt x New Era caps in overall six colorways – red, yellow, camo, brown, black and purple. Other stand out pieces included the down winter jacket that also features fur on the hood. In terms of material the jacket reminds of Moncler. It comes in black and brown. They also released some denim, as well as the classic Carhartt backpack, one of their most timeless pieces.

The UK sneaker chain Size? has now launched the first issue of their Interactive Sneaker Magazine. They present a range of interesting products in there. Most interesting are probably the Size? Brand t-shirt, reversible jacket and of course the Size? x New Balance 577 Clerks Pack that is previewed in the magazine for the first time.

After the recent release of the MHI collection, the more high end Maharishi Fall/Winter 2007 collection was now also released. he Rising Seas collection was formulated under the theme of oceans, the rising sea levels and navigation via the stars. The theme is directly translated into the designs. The collection consists of many naval inspired pieces and also presents a vast line-up of high-end products, premium materials and specials.
