Carhartt WIP always has fun accessories in their collections. That is also the case for Spring/Summer 2012. Next to the Military Watch that we already presented, they have collaborated with various brands on special product for the new season.

Together with 5Boro they produced a skate deck, with London Undercover a camouflage umbrella, with Moleskine a notebook pack and together with Fisher they present a special version of the iconic Spacepen.

A both fun and practical new umbrella has released this week. The Camouflage Goggles Umbrella by 25togo comes in two digi camo versions, incorporating a little window for perfect sight. Great for heavy rain and the occasional spy trip, the periscope-shaped cap is another nice detail on these. The designboom shop has both in stock now.

A Bathing Ape presents their new camo umbrella. Using wood, painted in black, and metal branding, the entire canvas of the umbrella features the iconic camouflage pattern of the Japanese brand. The Bape Camo Umbrella should be releasing this week.

Stussy once again presents some pieces from the new Stussy Livin’ Collection, a collaboration with Japanese brand Base Control. For Spring 2011 they present a t-shirt, room slippers and an umbrella.

Selectism just reported the other day about the collaboration between London Undercover and Tenue de Nimes on the denim umbrella. Today we bring you first images of the Maharishi collaboration with the umbrella makers.

“The pattern on the fabric has been inspired by the dazzle paint scheme used on Navy ships during World War 1. The complex geometric shapes were designed to confuse a German torpedo operator as to the direction the ship was travelling, the distance away and how fast it was moving.

With DPM’s aim to detach camouflage from its military associations and promote its national roots and artistic influences, the Bamdazzle pattern incorporates multiple contrasting Bamboo stems, interrupting and intersecting each other. The theme is continued in the make up of the umbrella with a special natural Bamboo/Whangee handle.

Available in 2 variants, the umbrellas are made in allied France with a traditional metal frame and runner attached to a natural beech wood shaft. The premium umbrellas come with a special collaboration label and engraved metal plate.”

The two umbrellas are now available at the London store of Maharishi and in their online store for 120 Pounds.

Just in time for the rainy season, Original Fake will release their first set of umbrellas. The umbrellas come in black and blue, both featuring signature graphics by Kaws. These are a nice alternative to the otherwise boring offering in the market. You can look for these in stores starting November 13th.

Opening Ceremony makes sure to cover you on all fronts. Their latest cooperative project involves umbrella maker Guy de Jean. Together with OC they worked on 2 styles – a round umbrella and a squared umbrella. Both are now available from the Opening Ceremony online store.

From the new Household Goods by Goodhood collection an umbrella has been released. The umbrella is made of wood and comes with a black nylon cover with Goodhood branding all over. Since the bad weather season has started for most of us around the globe, a nice umbrella is not a bad idea. It is now available for 40 GBP here.

The Art Convenience Store will be opening its doors at colette on September 21rst. The theme of the pop-up store is “Souvenir from Tokyo” and thus the store will feature numerous interesting collaborative items, including Hiroshi Fujiwara x Frixion pens, Jun Takahashi (Undercover) x Gimbis biscuits, Chitose Abe (Sacai) x Sanrio, Nobuhiko Kitamura (Hysteric Glamour) x Snoopy, Medicom Toy x André Kubricks, as well as a mastermind Japan umbrella. Today we can already preview the umbrella and the Kubrick set.

The Art Convenience Store will be at Uniqlo in New York and Doverstreet Market London before arriving at colette. Afterwards it will travel to Joyce Hong Kong and Isetan Tokyo.
