Undercover, and of course Undercoverism, are adept at throwing a curve to most basic of items. The zip wallet has risen to prominence on these here blogs, yet Undercoverism is here with a new take on the style. Intricate patterns are stitched atop a leather base with a further label patch on top of all that. Tonal with white stitching. Comes in three colors.

We continue our Tokyo tour. After having visited Shibuya and Harajuku earlier this week, we made the move to Aoyama. The good thing is, that all three of these shopping areas are very close to each other. From Harajuku to Aoyama it is not even worth taking the subway, you just walk over.

Once you start getting into the better shopping streets of Aoyama, you realize quickly that compared to Harajuku, things are a little more settled here. Lots of Japanese and international high fashion designers set up there shops here, including Issey Miyake, Comme des Garcons, Rick Owens, Neil Barrett, Miu Miu, Prada and many others.

Many of those brands you of course find in the US and Europe as well, therefore we tried to stick to the more unique outlets, either in terms of product offering or because of the store design.

One of our favorite pieces from the new Undercover Fall/Winter 2011 Collection is the above bomber jacket. The Japanese brands added leather sleeves to the nylon body of the jacket, mixing two very classic silhouettes in one – the bomber jacket and the leather biker jacket. They present the piece in khaki/black and black/black this season.

UCS, the lifestyle brand by mixed martial artist Caol Uno, is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Yokohama flagship store. For the occasion the brand produced some solid collaborative items.

Included in the 10th anniversary range are a re-release of Undercover collaboration t-shirts (originally released in 2005), Porter travel organizer and tote bag together with Lower Case and rug mats with Gallery 1950. The products will be released at the Yokohama store mid September 2011.

New from the Undercover Fall/Winter 2011 collection comes a Quilted Leather Riders Jacket. Offered in beige or black, the jacket offers a unique take on the classic outerwear style.

Cats play an integral role in the graphic theme of the new Undercover Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. We really like the darker take of Jun Takahashi on the subject with the above graphic t-shirt.

The tee comes in overall three colorways this season.

We take another look at some key items from the new Undercover Fall/Winter 2011 Collection, entitled ‘Mirrors’. Inspired as usual by a dark fantasy, Jun Takahashi brings back items from previous seasons, becoming staples of his collections. Next to some strong leather pieces and innovative knitwear, the Japanese designer gets creative in the accessories range with pouches in the shape of hamburgers, cakes and more. The mix of fun items and signature pieces provides for an overall strong range for the season. The items showcased here, are now available from the Undercover Hong Kong store.

Undercover designer Jun Takahashi has unveiled two new t-shirt designs on his Honeyee blog. The Basic Tee comes in two styles – Gilapple and Neu Bear – both of which are available in black or white colorways.

Both styles go on sale tomorrow.

Today Undercover designer Jun Takahashi announces their upcoming project with Uniqlo. It looks like he will be designing a collection for the Japanese clothing giant in the near future. It looks like the project will start this year and go throughout all of 2012. We will of course keep you posted.

With the relationship between Unqlo and Jil Sander coming to an end, this might be a great addition to their portfolio and offering!

Today marks the opens of the Nike Amplify Running Exhibition at the Stage within Isetan Shinjuku. In addition the the polka dot All Courts, an exclusive series of Nike GYAKUSOU by Undercover items will be on offer from June 15-21. The range includes graphic tees, baseball shirts and two special make up GYAKUSOU Free Run +2 ID sneakers.

Certain shirts will also be available at Undercover Aoyama in shop exclusive colors.
