UNDRCRWN pays homage to some of the most intelligent and artistic hip hop artists of the late 80’s and 90s. With reinterpretations of classic album covers & artwork, UNDRCRWN delivers 3 new tees that tie back to their roots in music and basketball culture.

UNDRCRWN channels the signature floral print off of De La Soul’s 1989 debut album- 3 Feet High and Rising. Adding a new twist to the meaning of “Me Myself and I” this tee subtly pokes fun at one of the most notorious ball hogs in the league. The caricature style tee pays homage to Paul’s production work on De La Soul’s 3 Feet High and Rising. Prince Paul is pictured sporting UNDRCRWN’s “The Layup” kicks, DJ equipment and a basketball in hand. UNDRCRWN introduced you to the “Keep Bouncing” tee back in Spring 2006. This second generation of tees expands on UNDRCRWN’s love for basketball while honoring A Tribe Called Quests “The Low End Theory”.

Designed by Dustin Canalin for UNDR-CRWN, the collection mainly consists of t-shirts, as well as a few cut-and-sew pieces. UNDR-CRWN once again worked with adidas as part of their REMIX series. “The Brand Of Champions Series” consists of a TS Creator, TS Creator Low and a TS Commander. All three come in bold make-ups, featuring special colors, materials and applications unseen in the regular adidas collection.

The collaborative footwear has been released today and is now available in the UNDR-CRWN online store.

UNDR-CRWN continues to work closely with adidas on their basketball collection. Soon we will see the release of a new collaborative sneaker – the TS Creator. Part of the adidas Remix collection, the TS Creator comes in a black/gold colorway with an all-over embossed emblems graphic. Furthermore the UNDR-CRWN logo appears bold on the side of the sneaker. Adidas has rolled out a massive amount of gil II Zero’s, a shoe dveloped with Gilbert Arenas. One of them was also a collaboration with UNDR-CRWN, which gets together with Adidas for the second time already. Without a doubt the UNDR-CRWN Gil II Zero shoe was the nicest in the line-up.
Now it is available exclusively in a very limited run at Ubiq Philadelphia. These definitely look good on and off the court!

Tradition celebrates their first anniversary tomorrow night, February 2nd. For the occasion the store has not only planned an event and exhibition, they have also aligned some collaborations with some of the brands and people that they respect and carry in store.
They got together with artist Axis, with Mr. Cartoon and also with UNDR-CRWN. With each one they created a 1 year anniversary t-shirt that will be available as of tomorrow. Each t-shirt comes in several colorways.

Undrcrwn’s 2007 Holiday line has dropped in stores throughout the US, Canada, Europe and Japan later this month.  Undrcrwn has gathered five influential DJ’s to showcase the brand’s new Holiday collection in a 64 page Look-book that will be distributed to all retailers worldwide.  Undrcrwn was able to bring together all the DJ’s for a photo-shoot in their Philadelphia offices. We took the opportunity to have a chat with all five DJ’s.

After previously presenting to you King Britt, Rich Medina, Prince Paul and Neil Armstrong, we present you today the last interview in the series, a one on one with DJ Green Lantern. He’s created some of the most sought out mixes, he has his own Radio show on Sirius, he’s an accomplished producer and he’s Jay-Z’s DJ on tour… he hails from the land of Gotham….be prepared to be enlightened…

Today we have the pleasure of announcing you a special project that Adidas is working on with NBA player Gilbert Arenas. As of the end of the year they will be relealsing the Gil II Zero (pronounced Gil 20) sneaker. There will be 20 versions of the shoe throughout the season. 18 of the 20 are limited editions mostly in collaboration with somebody else and there are 2 in-line shoes as well.
Expect collaborations in this series with Vitamin Water, Coke Zero, Halo, Looney Tunes, Slam Magazine, ThreeZero (comes with a 24″ toy), UNDR-CRWN (here is the Adidas x UNDR-CRWN continuation) and last but not least with Benihana. You can check the release dates and more details to the launches here.
Definitely a very special and very large project that is on its way. We are excited to see this go live. The first shoe will come out November 23rd.
