Haiti was hit by a second earthquake this morning (measuring 6.1) as the country reels from the devastating 7.0 earthquake only eight days ago. Last week’s quake killed an estimated 200,000 people, left 250,000 injured and made 1.5 million people homeless. Out of respect for those who have lost loved ones, their shelter and life’s basic necessities– UNDRCRWN joins the rest of the world in grieving the tremendous losses to the people of Haiti.

Starting today, Wednesday January 20th, UNDRCRWN releases the “Assist Haiti” T-shirt for the Haiti Relief Effort at UNDRCRWN.com. 100% OF THE PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED to YELE HAITI which is the organization supported by Wyclef Jean. Throughout the week of January 20th- January 27th, UNDRCRWN will also be donating 5% of their total web sales to YELE HAITI.

We hope that these efforts combined with those around the world will help the people of Port-au-Prince and the rebuilding of Haiti. Highsnobiety encourages you to donate direct at one of the following charities.

This winter, UNDRCRWN’s Creative Director, Dustin O. Canalin, will be releasing a very limited capsule collection dubbed D.O.C. (his initials). The D.O.C range is a much more mature line of clothes focusing mainly on cut & sew garments. To compliment the capsule, UNDRCRWN has partnered with Rockport to create the Delta Boot. Constructed of melton wool, gingham, waxed laces and butter soft leather, the boot is limited to 100 pairs and will be available worldwide starting Friday November 27, 2009.

UNDRCRWN is releasing their latest collaborative project with Mos Def. The “Cut & Sew” collection blends a collegiate athletic aesthetic with Mos’ person style. Consisting of jackets and fitted caps, the release features monochromatic materials with pops of colorful details and bold prints, all mixed with hand drawing by Mos Def himself.

Notorious B.I.G, who is often remembered for his signature 90s style, was the inspiration behind the sublimated poly Bedstuy Short. Second is a wool cargo short featuring wooden buttons. Following the success of the “College Collection”, UNDRCRWN announces the release of their second collaboration with SRC recording artist Asher Roth. Asher and UNDRCRWN have partnered together on 3 brand new tees inspired by Asher’s hit single I love College and the cult classic 70’s film Animal House. Lighthearted, fun, and true to form- the tees feature several references to college life (kegs, red cups, and spilt beer). One of the tees also features an Image of Asher Roth holding a mic in UNDRCRWN’s signature caricature fashion.

In anticipation of a new State Property album, Undrcrwn has linked with Philly favorites Beanie Sigel and Freeway (both of whom put out solid solos last fall). Prince Paul hails from the City of New York! He’s one of the true innovative producers / DJ’s in the music industry.
