After showing you yesterday the Sophnet collaborations with Vans on the Sk8 Hi and with Danner on the Danner Light, we can preview today some shirts from the Sophnet and the uniform experiment Fall/Winter 2010 Collections. We have always loved the little twists on the classic shirts by the two Japanese brands. Sophnet presents dot embroideries on the cuffs, cuffs inspired by college jackets and camouflage inserts, while uniform experiment concentrates on dot and star pattern prints.

As part of their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection, uniform experiment presents a collaboration with Benrus on a military watch. The watch is 35.5mm large, has a black case and matching black canvas nato strap. Both the Benrus and the uniform experiment logos are featured on the dial. The watch will be released on July 31st.

Japanese brand uniform experiment presents a first set of t-shirts from their upcoming Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. As expected, the brand keeps it simple in terms of colors and graphics.

uniform experiment gets together with London and Tokyo based design agency BOW WOW International on a series of t-shirts. The “License Plate” t-shirt series consistso of several motives with prints features on both the front and back of the tees. They will be released at all uniform experiment retailers on June 19th.

Today we came across a fantastic personal blog by Google Creative Lab’s Ed Kim. Kim has launched his personal blog called “Wear Today”, which he shows what he is wearing every day illustrated. From Band of Outsiders to uniform experiment and Paul Smith, he certainly shows off some good taste. Via notcot.

Two solid new pieces come from the uniform experiment Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. The brand presents a beautiful check shirt with some nice pocket details and a check sports short, which would also have looked great as a board short. Both items will release this weekend at Sophnet retailers.

AOEQ, made up of Hiroshi Fujiwara and Yo-King will be going on a Spring 2010 Tour in Japan. For the occasion Hiroshi Fujiwara has designed a series of tour t-shirts with his label uniform experiment. Overall there are 2 t-shirts that will be released at each stop of the tour.

This week sees a couple of interesting releases from the uniform experiment Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. The much anticipated collaboration with Dr. Martens on the Wing Tip Boots is releasing. The boots come in burgundy and in black, overall with a more refined aesthetic than the regular Dr. Martens boots. Furthermore uniform experiment is coming out with a series of new glasses and sunglasses, all coming in black and turtoile with some nice metal details.

Some of the strongest pieces of the uniform experiment Spring/Summer 2010 Collection will be released this coming weekend. The drop includes the Saitos 3Layer Nylon Check Mods Coat, Saitos 3Layer Nylon Check Mountain Parka, Cotton Madras Safari Jacket and a solid check madras shirt. These are all beautiful pieces that nicely compaign style and functionality.
