MARCH LA.B gets together with Los Angeles retailer Union on the AM1 Black Commando watch. The Swiss Made watch comes with a black body and matching black Nato strap, resulting in a great looking modern timepiece with retro inspiration. The 40mm watch was treated with black PVD and features crystal glass. The case back features custom Union engraving. Actor Gunner Wright is wearing the watch in this lookbook presentation, shot by Dimitri Coste. Limited to only three pieces, the watch is sold exclusively through Union LA.

Union’s good friend Mos Def dropped in for a visit yesterday at their LA store and grabbed a pair of shoes from the latest Union x McNairy collabo. The black and blue shoes suited him so well that they decided to head over to Feal Mor to shoot some flicks. They’re even calling them “Blue Beys” now. Check it out.

Jake Davis presents the first in a series of Union Los Angeles campaign films. The series is called “Burnt Shots” and the above video is entitled “One Day”.

“A combination of Jake Davis Test Shots and his music video work influences this intimate fashion film. Prep, military, and gangster are the styles that embody Union in this role reversal of dress-up.”

Just the other day we presented to you the collaboration between shoemaker Mark McNairy and Engineered Garments. Here comes now capsule collection of shoes made exclusively for Union Los Angeles. The collection consists of the Snuff Suede Brogue, Camel Suede Derby and the Two Tone Saddle Gibson. Recently we had the chance to meet the designer and check out the footwear in person and we can only say that we were impressed with craftsmanship and comfort.

“The shoes are all “Goodyear Welted” and hand cobbled by legendary English shoe maker  Sanders & Sanders established in 1873. “Goodyear Welt” construction is a very labor intensive method but is acknowledged to be the finest construction for most footwear.”

The shoes are now available for purchase in store and online.

Union has released two anniversary t-shirts. Their infamous logo appears on black and white t-shirts, featuring the Nike Air Tech Challenge colors. Looking at the recent release of the Union x Nike Dunk Hi Challenge Supreme at Union New York and now at the tees, we might see a black/yellow release of the sneaker as well.

Stones Throw got together with Undefeated, Stussy, Union and Converse. The limited-edition Black Friday t-shirt was created exclusively for The Block Party/Food Drive held at Union/Stussy/UNDFTD LA this past weekend which featured the likes of J.Rocc, Dam-Funk, DJ AM, & Flying Lotus. Only 300 tees were printed and Stones Throw managed to put 50 t-shirts aside, which are now being offered in their online store.

A couple of weeks ago we presented to you the lookbook of the Union x Maiden Noir Fall/Winter 2008 collection. The line is releasing tomorrow, therefore we give you a more detailed look at the pieces of the capsule collection. The line consists of a hoodie, plaid shirts and matching fitted caps.

We gave you a first preview of the Union x CLOT t-shirts a couple of days ago. Now some more information on the release. There will be a black and a white t-shirt, both remixing the iconic Union logo. The black t-shirt is an exclusive for Juice Hong Kong and the CLOT online store. The white one will be released at Union NY and Union LA.

The Union x CLOT t-shirts will be released in limited quantities on September 22nd.

Union LA announced their website today. The store will for the first time have an online presence and will also launch an online store along. The website will be launched the 15th of January!

Union has been an institution since its opening in New York in 1989. Not many stores can say, that they have been around for this long. For the Holidays they made some t-shirts, overall 5 styles. The t-shirts will be available at Union NY and Union LA only. Via Pointblack.
