For the Alexander McQueen sub collection, entitled McQ, UNKLE has produced the music for Autumn/Winter 2009. Kai & Sunny have created the CD design and packaging. Look out for a release in the coming months.

For the latest U.N.K.L.E. music video Spike Jones and Ty Evans worked their magic and created for “Heaven” a great skate sequence. The song was originally used in the end credits of the Lakai movie Fully Flared.

UNKLE has been coming back strong lately. Beinghunted sat down with James Lavelle and Richard File. They talk about past and present, definitely a must read. Just this week we presented you the Silly Thing x U.N.K.L.E. mesh caps. Along with the mesh caps, also t-shirts will be released and a Mix CD. The t-shirts come in some nice packaging. As usual Silly Thing goes all the way and looks at the smallest detail. The t-shirt featuring the Silly Thing logo surrounded by the iconic Pointman, comes in a special box. The drive to perfection even on something as “simple” as a t-shirt is impressive. Via TK.

Silly Thing made some new Mesh Caps for UNKLE, to promote their new album “War Stories”. The caps come in three colorways – red, purple, black – and have a glitter design on the front. The caps will be released this coming Saturday, September 22nd, at the Silly Thing store in Hong Kong. Via TK.

Surrender got together with Levi’s Fenom, the line that is designed by Fragment Design lead by Hiroshi Fujiwara. They took the Levi’s Fenom 207 Black Disco Denim and applied the UNKLE logo, created by 3D of Massive Attack. They also applied original black Swarovski crystals. The denim is of course made in Japan and limited to 15 pieces. Via Surrender/Hypebeast.
