Today we have a limited edition Vans Era, created exclusively for Urban Outfitters. The sneaker is updated with “all-American red, white and blue uppers to celebrate the Era’s original release 35 years ago (in the bicentennial year of 1976).” The throwback “Van Doren” logo at the back is a nice touch.

Marc McNairy gets together with Urban Outfitters and presents as part of his New Amsterdam Collection, a special capsule line entitled “Good Souls”, exclusive to Urban Outfitters.

Urban Outfitters has collaborated with the Minnesota-based Duluth on two custom hiking packs. The made-in-USA bag comes in two colors – blue and red – with custom blond leather details. Available only at Urban Outfitters stores and urbanoutfitters.com.

Urban Outfitters worked with the same folks who do Warriors of Radness for an exclusive line of t-shirts and shorts for Summer 2010, entitled GONZ!.

“Inspired by ’60s beach films and ’80s surf style, the 11-piece line is fittingly modeled by Indian Burn, a three-man band from Newport Beach with songs about space, outlaws, and parties. Embodying a lifestyle of California fun, looks from the collection include classic beach items like tanks, graphic tees, and hoodies as well as casual daywear pieces like a crewneck pullover and seersucker shorts—all priced between $28 and $58.”

The collection will be released at Urban Outfitters stores on May 15th.

Selectism channels R29 on their Pendleton for UO piece. “Couldn’t stomach the $510 price-tag on the Pendleton Meets Opening Ceremony blankets? Urban Outfitters has got the remedy, with a line of Pendleton-printed home goods that’s priced at a much more palatable $48 for towels and $118 for blankets. Don’t think the decrease in price means they’re skimping you on quality; The Oregon-based wool label handles every aspect of the production, which means that your UO purchase has passed through the historic manufacturers’ discerning eyeballs.”

This January sees the launch of The Staple Archive Collection for Urban Outfitters. “We started to talk about how cool it would be to go back into the archives of Staple,” says founder and creative director of Staple Design and Reed Space, Jeff Staple. “We wanted to dig out some exciting designs as well as some designs that may have never seen the light of day and reissue them exclusively for Urban Outfitters,” he adds.

The collection consists of three graphic t-shirts featuring well known Staple designs, done in a super-soft washed cotton with a redesigned label that states the design is from The Staple Archives. Available both in-store and online at www.urbanoutfitters.com next month.

This year, Urban Outfitters proudly presents a limited edition of 700 hand-numbered deadstock Polaroid camera kits. This exclusive Urban Outfitters special edition will include one pack of deadstock Polaroid Instant Film and one of the most sought after analog instant cameras: the Polaroid One600 classic, the last Polaroid camera ever produced. Urban Outfitters worked with The Impossible Project on the kit, who recently purchased all of the dead stock, plus all the machinery and equipment at Polaroid’s Netherlands factory before it closed. Together they two hope to bring back new analog instant film for Polaroid cameras in 2010.

Along with the kits, Urban Outfitters will offer additional deadstock original Polaroid Type 779 Instant Film saved from the last production runs made at the last Polaroid factory in Enschede, Netherlands. The film has been hand-selected, tested, and stored at low temperatures exclusively for Urban Outfitters.

In conjunction with the release of the special edition Polaroid film and camera kits, Gallery space at space 15 Twenty in los Angeles is hosting a month-long group show of Polaroid photography. The original Polaroid instant photographs on view in Everything is Possible will reflect the unlimited possibilities of working with this unique format.

DJ Steve Aoki recently worked with Urban Outfitters on an exclusive Dim Mak Collection release. The drop consists of one tank and one tee style with the classic Dim Mak Spray logo. These pieces are available now at select UO retail stores as well as at urbanoutfitters.com.

The much anticipated Filson For Urban Outfitters bags are now available. The heritage Seattle based brand produced a Zipper Tote Bag and Duffle Bag for Urban Outfitters, going for 129 USD and 205 USD. The bags can now be purchased from the Urban Outfitters online store.

Nike just released not too long ago a series of Vintage t-shirts going along with the Nike Vintage sneakers. They made a big release together with Urban Outfitters. In the US many UO stores got a nice Nike Vintage display, where you could read up on the history of the sneakers, choose your sneaker and tee.
The t-shirts are exclusive to UO and are now also available in their online store.
