Fresh for this month, Vans Vault has released these “Leather & Flannel” Sk-8 Hi LX’s. These premium leather kicks come in two interesting and descriptive color names including Blue Nights/Friar Brown and Sudan Brown/Biking Red. Each features a flannel lining, earning their “Leather & Flannel” moniker. Check for these at Vans Vault retailers.

The Vans SK8 Hi is always perceived as a relatively simple shoe, but this Tech Pack takes the classic and spices it up a bit in terms of construction. This iteration of the SK8 Hi features a heavy woven upper and mixed in with some tumbled leather, along with a sealed toe box to help protect against the elements. Two colors, black and loden, are available now over at DQM.

The collaboration between mastermind JAPAN and Vans on the Sk8 Hi has finally released. Featuring a black suede upper, the sneaker comes with a tonal mastermind JAPAN logo embroidery on the toe box, black/white check pattern lining and a zipper on the heel. All in all very clean and typical for both brands. Bobos has them in stock now.

We get a better look at the soon to release collaboration between mastermind JAPAN and Vans Japan. The two worked on a classic Sk8 Hi, featuring a suede upper, black/white check lining, zipper on the heel and mastermind JAPAN logo embroidery on the toe box. According to honeyee, the sneaker will release on November 11th, 2011, for the opening of the latest Ron Herman store in Japan.

Vans Sk8-Hi Boat LX is a new silhouette in the Vans Vault line-up, available this season in two tri-tone color combos. Now in store at Proper.

For Fall 2011 Vans and Supreme hook up once again and have announced today the Flies Pack. Consisting of the Sk8 Hi and the Era, each sneaker comes in three colorways, featuring a mixed suede/canvas upper with a flies all-over print being featured on the canvas panels. Furthermore a Supreme print has been placed in the heel.

The sneakers will be available in-store in NY,LA,London and online on September 29th and will be available in Japan on October 1st.

Vans Vault continues to work with Japanese designer Taka Hayashi on footwear. For Fall 2011 the two present the Sk8 Hi TH LX and the Derby TH LX. Both feature premium material uppers and a series of special design elements and features, making them stand out from the regular Vault line-up. We especially like the Crepe soled Derby with its mixed leather/suede upper this season.

Next to the Penny Loafer LX, Vans Vault has another nice pack of sneakers in the pipeline for Fall 2011. The Premio Pack consists of the Sk8 Hi and the Slip-On, both coming in black and burgundy premium leather versions. The leather has a bit a shine effect, adding to the premium appeal that the pack is supposed to transport. Look out for a release in the coming weeks.

Portland, Oregon snowboard-oriented label Holden got together with Vans on a special release Sk8-Hi for Fall/Winter 2011. The sneakers are constructed of premium leather inside and out, with waxed canvas panels and waxed laces. Of note are the subtle structural changes, such as the heel tab and suede rand, alongside various hits of Holden branding. These will release alongside matching Vans x Holden snowboard boots.

Vans collaborates with band H2O to celebrate their 15th anniversary. The Sk8 Hi comes with the first album cover placed on the side-panels. The limited edition sneaker is now available from ABC-Mart.
