For Spring/Summer 2010 Vans Vault will be dropping four solid new two-tone colorways in the Half-Cab LX. Drawing from more rugged footwear, these Half-Cab sport a notable metal lace hook in the corner position. Overall they come in four different premium suede color ups: Black Snake and Gunmetal; Black Snake and Chili Pepper; Black Snake and Tobacco Brown; and Black Snake and Deep Coral. An amazing interpretation of an all-time classic. Release is scheduled for quite a ways down the road.. March/April 2010.

A bunch of new sneakers from the Vans Vault Holiday 2009 Collection have been released these past days. The latest drop includes the Chukka Del Barco LX, the Switchback Boots, as well as a Chukka and two Sk8 Hi’s, both featuring wool uppers. The new product is now available at Proper.

We get an early preview of another Vans Vault Spring 2010 sneaker. The Mountain Edition comes in a collaboration with Knoll in a pack of 4. The uppers come in a satin like material, produced by Knoll Textiles. The side-panels feature a nice premium leather detail with embossed branding. Overall a solid looking shoe for Spring 2010.

The Vans Vault Collection has developed into a very solid offering over the last couple of seasons, introducing premium materials and new ideas to the classic Vans footwear. Here we take a look at te Buffalo Boot LX for Spring 2010. It comes in two colorways and takes most of its inspiration from a classic hiking boot. The outcome is a very nice mid top sneaker.

From the Vans Vault Fall 2009 Collection comes the Chukka Moc LX. Vans once again managed to successfully upgrade one of their classic silhouettes, giving it a real premium look. They added premium suede to the upper, interesting stitching on the toe box and a tan leather patch on the side. The sneaker is now available in black and brown at Bows & Arrows.

From the Vans Vault Fall 2009 Collection we give you a look at the Herringbone Pack. The pack consists of the 106 LX and the 46 LX. Both sneakers come in a nice mix of brown herringbone and matching suede. The lining comes in plaid. All in all two very solid Fall sneakers.

We get a first look at the Vans Vault Spring 2010 Buffalo Boot High. The high top sneaker comes in a mix of leather and suede on the upper and features an embossed Vans logo on the ankle. The gold metal eyelets and red laces are some nice accents, on this otherwise very subtle shoe. Look out for a release early next year.

Vans sent over a first look at some forthcoming Authentics from the Spring 2010 Vault collection. Vans latest offering includes a rich leather interpretation of one of our favorite sneakers of all time. Those violet and brown hues look so buttery. Definitely one for the must-have list. Due out in February 2010.

Taka Hayashi designed three completely new styles for Vans including the No Quarter LX, the Velocita and the Akat (shown previously.) Each shoe features materials and details inspired by military surplus and traditionally crafted Native American goods. Available now at Proper.

The Akita Sk8-Hi LX features a beautiful crocodile embossed patent leather in both black/white and peach. As part Vans’ exclusive Vault collection, this Sk8 Hi offers a drop in footbed for a more comfortable feel than your standard Sk8 Hi. A little flashier than what we’re usually into, but if that’s what you’re looking for, these are a decent pick.
