One of our favorite sneakers of the Vans Vault Fall 2009 Collection has been released. The Era Wingtip has dropped in two colorways, fusing the casual low top sneaker by Vans with a more dressed up Wingtip style. The result is a more dressy version of the Era. The sneakers are now available from Proper.

Vans Fall 2009 Vault collection has started to roll into retailers. Amongst many great styles is the custom-designed “Akat” by Taka Hayashi. After wowing us with his re-interpretation of several classic Vans models, Taka crafted three new silhouettes from the ground up. With an obvious Visvim influence (or perhaps the same influences as Visvim) the Akat draws inspiration from Native American culture, 1960s Italian footwear and the military. Available in bitter chocolate, with tonal stitching (pictured) or brown, with contrast white stitching and laces. We can attest this look isn’t for everybody, but if you’re not down, the epic Vans Vault Peacoat Chukkas and Del Barco Mids are also in stock now at Bows & Arrows.

Vans Vault worked for Fall 2009 once again extensively with artist Rick Griffin. Aside from the Slip-On that we already presented, they also worked on the Sk8 Hi, Old Skool and Mid Skool. All three sneakers come with a black base in different kinds of leather and canvas and feature lots of custom artwork, graphics and customization. The customization happens on the upper, sole, as well as the lining, making the pack certainly stand out. Furthermore the packaging is also designed by the artist. The pack is now available at Flauge.

Many new sneakers from the Vans and Vans Vault Fall 2009 Collections have been released. Exciting new footwear includes a denim pack, consisting of an Era and the Half Cab, as well as the Vans Vault Supercorsa in three colorways. Included in the release are also the Sk8 Hi Cup, Wingtip Era LX, Perforated Half Cab and many more. The entire line-up is now available from Kicks/Hi.

After showing you the Del Barco Hi the other day, we show you now the Vans Vault Holiday 2009 Del Barco Lo. The low top sneaker comes in two colorways, featuring premium leather uppers, contrasting white stitching and a polka dot lining. Once again a very solid offering by Vans that will be released later this year. Via MT.

From the Vans Vault Fall 2009 Collection comes the Sk8 Hi Standard Issue LX Pack. The pack consists of an updated Sk8 Hi, which comes with a thick stripe on the side-panels. The range includes more subtle black and brown colorways, as well as more attention seeking multicolor sneakers. The pack is now available from DQM.

The Wingtip style seems to be a favorite of Vans Vault next season. We will be seeing on the Era, as well as other styles, including this new Slip-On Wingtip LX. The slip-on comes in premium leathers and will be available in cherry tomato and off-white. Just like most of the Vault collection, two very solid sneakers to be looking out for.

Some more previews are coming from the Vans Vault Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The Wool Pack offers a series of Vans classics in updated premium leather/wool versions. The pack consists of the Sk8 Hi, Slip-On, Old Skool and Chukka Boot.

The biking inspired Vans Vault Supercorsa comes for Summer 2009 in classic white and light brown leather options. The sneaker has a good ventilation through a perforated upper and comes in true biking spirit with a Vans biking cap. It is now available at Flauge.

For Fall 2009, Vans Vault will be releasing a new high top sneaker, the Hi Fi LX. The sneaker will be released next season in an all black pony hair version, a black/white pony hair zebra pattern and a gold/purple colorway. The sneaker features regular lacing at the bottom and hooks a the top, similar to hiking boots. Look out for these from August.
