Inspired by the tropical islands of Hawaii and their infamous patterned shirt, Vans Vault presents the Aloha Era LX for Summer 2011. While bright, colorful, patterned shoes are often too much, the washed-out canvas suits this style well. Now available at End.

Ludwig Van has released a super rare pair of Vault by Vans Deadstock Canvas Project “Mary Jane” printed shoes. “This is ONE pair of only FIVE PAIRS IN EXISTENCE. It really needs no more explanation. This is strictly for the real collector…or the “baller” as it were. Lil’ Wayne was sweating us for them but we DENIED his request.” The sneaker comes with a matching belt and various other ephemera. You can’t say we didn’t fill our 420 quota today.

Earlier today we showed you a video introducing the new Deadstock Canvas Project by LUDWIG VAN and Vans Vault. Here is now a more detailed look at the footwear.

L.A. based designer, and Ludwig Van impresario, Mike Dytri has turned a cache of decades-old original Vans canvas sheets (“deadstock”) purchased at a warehouse sale into his newest collaboration. Working closely with Vans, Ludwig Van created this extremely limited edition collection of only 288 pairs using 14 different patterns. The shoes ship with a D-ring belt, flip book and shoe bag all packaged in a limited edition box. The collection will only be available in five U.S. stores: UNDFT (Los Angeles, CA), Conveyor (Santa Monica, CA), Proper (Long Beach), DQM (New York) and Bows & Arrows (Berkeley, CA). Colette (Paris) and Dover Street Market (London) will carry the shoes in Europe, while the shoes will be released in limited quantities in Japan as well.

The high top comes in two colorways and the low top in three, all pairs featuring colorful all over graphics. While too much color can quickly go wrong, we love the two Sk8 Hi’s in the pack, screaming summer. Look out for a release next month.

From the Vans Vault and Taka Hayashi Spring/Summer 2011 collaboration, new product is releasing this month. The two worked on the Sk8 Hi TH LX and the Derby TH LX. Both sneakers came earlier this season in each two colorways. This month a 3rd colorway of both sneakers will be coming out. The Sk8 Hi TH LX comes in a light beige/brown colorway and the Derby TH LX will be dropping in grey suede. Look out for both sneakers at Vans Vault retailers in the coming weeks.

Today we present the second drop of the season from the Vans Vault Spring 2011 Collection. The brand presents three new styles, including the Mid Skool ‘77 LX, the Authentic Decon LX and the Priz Laced LX. Both the Mid Skool and the Authentic Decon come in three leather colorways, while the Priz Laced is available in two canvas colorways.

From Vans Vault we preview the Era 46 LX, due to release soon from their Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. The low top sneaker comes in three tonal nubuck colorways with accents set on the heel and ankle padding in a premium brown leather. Yet another very solid release from Vans, that you should look out for.

One of our favorite releases to come this season from the Vans Vault Collection is the Spectator LX. The sneaker mixes elements of the classic Era and Authentic low top sneakers with elements of a Wingtip shoe. It comes in two very solid suede/leather colorways for Spring 2011.

Here comes another interesting new release from the Vans Vault Spring 2011 Collection, mixing the Sk8 Hi silhouette with a boat shoe. The outcome is the Sk8 Hi Boat LX. It comes in the first Vans Vault delivery this season, in two colorways, both featuring leather laces.

One of the most interesting new shoes to release from Vans Vault Spring 2011 is the Derby TH LX. Inspired by the more classic mens shoe, it comes with lasered suede uppers, leather mid-sole and a crepe outer sole.
