From the Vans Surf Fall/Winter 2009 Collection, the Sk8 Mid Fur has been released. The mid top sneaker comes in black, beige and navy, featuring clean suede uppers and fur linings, making it a shoe to consider for the colder months of the year. The sneaker will be available soon at Flauge.

Another interesting new Vans Sk8 Hi has released in Japan. The high top sneaker comes in brown and black suede with a fringe look and further tribal inspired colorful embroideries on the tongue, as well as thick stitching details on the upper. The sneaker is now available at ABC-Mart.

Japan’s Ollie Magazine gets together with Vans on the MAD Ollie Old Skool. The sneaker commemorates this year’s MAD Ollie music festival. It comes in a classic black suede upper with checkered mid-sole and further details on the in-sole and tongue. The sneaker is now available at Vans Japan dealers.
Vans Japan presents the Sk8 Hi in a new hiking boot inspired look. Both upper colors and details, such as the laces, are inspired by classic hiking boots. The Sk8 Hi comes in three colorways and is now available from ABC-Mart.

Following a nice selection of co-branded caps earlier this season, Vans drops a simple Starter cap bearing the namesake of it’s limited core-skate Syndicate line. OG snapback, white on black, 100% cotton. Silo has them for $28 USD.
Vans Japan has released the Mexican Blanket pack as part of their Holiday 2009 Collection. The pack consists of a Sk8 Hi and a Slip-On. Both feature extensive pattern details, inspired by the iconic mexican blanket. The Sk8 Hi also features purple suede on the upper. Both sneakers are now available at ABC-Mart.

The Vans Chukka comes as part of this season’s California collection in a nice new wool version. The sneaker is available in red and in brown, features wool uppers and fur linings, making sure that your feet stay warm this season. The pack is now available from Essence.

We get an early look at the upcoming collaboration of Vans and Jahan. They worked on the Mountain Mid. It comes with a black suede/black exotic leather upper, purple tongue and Jahan’s signature under the lace strap. Overall a premium looking classic that is due to be released soon.

Here comes the Vans Sk8 Hi for Halloween 2009. Thankfully they stays away from graphics. They put patent leather all-over the upper and a subtle pumpkin tag on the side, matching the orange laces. The sneaker has been released this month in Japan.
Vans is one of the few brands where we are as excited about the classic goods as we are about the new and more innovative. For Fall/Winter 2009 we once again see our favorite silhouettes of the brand reworked in solid premium materials.
