The Supreme and Vans collaborations remain to be among the most anticipated footwear team-ups every season and usually Supreme does not disappoint in bringing some refreshing design to the classic Vans sneaker silhouettes.

Today we come across a supposedly upcoming Supreme x Vans Authentic for 2012, styled in the iconic Campbell’s Soup can design all over the upper. One thing is for sure, should these come out, they will fly off of the shelves. We cannot confirm that these will actually drop, only time will tell.

Vans introduces the 2012 OTW advocates Lupe Fiasco and Chris Kong. The two join Eric Elms and Dimitri Coste as creative forces collaborating with OTW designers.

Lupe and Chris will join the OTW crew in Berlin next Wednesday for a special launch event during the Bread & Butter trade show. The experience kicks off January 18th with a live musical appearance by Lupe Fiasco, Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def) and The Patta Sound System at the Vans Department in the Mitte District of Berlin, located at Auguststrasse 5.

A limited number of tickets will be available to the public through select Berlin retailers who carry the OTW line and the show will be webcast live at stickam.com/vans1966.

For Spring 2012, Vans Syndicate presents a project from old pals Anthony Van Engelen and Jason Dill. Teaming up on a three-style pack, the Alien Workshop-bred pros chose to update two classic Vans silhouettes, the Authentic Pro “S” and the Old Skool ’92 Pro “S”, as well as one of Anthony’s all-time favorites, the AV Sk8-Low “S”.

Each style boasts cream of the crop leathers including thick gauge dress shoe leather uppers and pigskin linings. The Authentic Pro “S” blends in faux snakeskin, while the Old Skool ’92 Pro “S” sports a faux cheetah fur upper. The AV Sk8-Low “S” plays it straight with the sleek black leather upper, but with the faux snakeskin and cheetah fur lining the inside.

All three pairs come complete with a crystal rubber outsole tread and project specific Syndicate trim and packaging. Also look for a cool scorpion design on the footbed of the shoes, representing the Scorpio symbol, AVE and Dill’s sign.

Vans’ OTW line continues to unveil some of its new styles for Spring 2012 and next up to be showcased is this Stovepipe sneaker. Check out some details regarding this release below:

Debuting in three different colorways – white canvas, grey hazybuck and black savannah leather – the Stovepipe is our deconstructed, slimmed-down, progressive and new mid-top design. How’s this for a throwback in the world of skateboarding? Vans will be releasing this capsule collection along with the OG publication, The Skateboarder Magazine, this year. The collection is small, but definitely does the trick as far as capturing the essence and flavor of the era in which the magazine reigned supreme.

The Vans Authentic will forever be one of our favorite sneakers. With an extremely wearable shape, the shoe can be remixed in endless iterations, some better than others. One of the better ones of late is this speckled pack, which is available in three different colorways.

Spring 2012 marks the debut of the Ludlow Decon in the Vans OTW Collection. Available later this month at OTW retailers, the new silhouette is a slimmed down update of the original Ludlow model minus the lining materials and binding for a lighter and more comfortable fit. The molded polyurethane insole and sittched-down cupsole work together to maintain a relaxed wear all day long.

Vans will be offering some solid winterized sneakers for Fall/Winter 2012 with these Outdoor Classics. This small range consists of a Chukka, the Low Profile Era (LPE), and the Switchback. We see two colors for each sneaker, with both the LPE and Chukka receiving a fleece lining. Another interesting feature is the sole, which takes the classic Vans sole and it reverses the waffle to create lugs for traction.

Vans presented Heel Bruise & Stussy’s “Under the Radar” exhibition this past week in Long Beach, CA and here is a full look at the works on display. Photos from Kenny Anderson, Keith Hufnagel, Nic Fensom, Natalia Mantini, Robbie Jeffers, Ray Barbee, Curtis Buchanan, Jeff Potocar, Jon Warren, and Devin Briggs were all exhibited in this second UTR event. Every photographer put forth some amazing photos ranging from portraiture, still life photography, as well as some breathtaking landscape shots by Jon Warren.
