Solebox and UK label Trainerspotter got together to make a varsity jacket. It comes with a grey body and black leather sleeves. On the back there is a large Solebox logo application. The jacket will be released in limited quantities January ‘08. We’ll keep you posted on the release.

We have seen lots of styles coming back, especially the ones inspired by the 80’s. But this MCM Varsity Jacket has to be the ultimate  comeback from the era. The Munich based luxury leather goods company had its high times in the 80’s until the mid 90’s. Then suddenly their loud styles, immense use of gold were not really in fashion anymore. Since ex Adidas creative director Michael Michalsky took over the creative direction of the brand, it slowly starts to pop up again and new flagship stores are being opened. Most recently they also got together with Married To The Mob on a collaboration bag.

Now they have something for men, and got together with Liquor, Women & Tears to collaborate on this varsity jacket. The sleeves come in classic MCM monogram leather. A large chest embroidery does not hide who made the jacket. The satin inner lining also has the logo plastered all over. The jacket comes with a leather name tag, that you usually only find on premium luggage collections and a gold plated serial number tag.
The jacket will be released very soon. Wear this jacket with the Adidas Superstar x MCM, and you got the perfect outfit. After the jump some more detailed pictures.

The Staple Holiday 2007 collection has been released these past few days. The “Education” theme is apparent in all pieces of the line and translated nicely into many college inspired garments, such as college hoodies, varsity jackets and beanies. The cut & sew is especially strong this season and in terms of design very solid.

French online magazine Black Rainbow (BKRW) is celebrating their first anniversary and for the occasion they made their very own varsity jackets. The jacket has a black base and white leather sleeves. Pretty much everywhere it features small embroideries, each standing for something that the 3 founders wanted to get out there.
The jacket is limited to 50 pieces. 3 jackets will be given away to people that can answer 5 questions, that will be put online this afternoon. Keep a close eye on BKRW and you might be one of the lucky ones.

This week Bounty X Hunter has released some more pieces of their Holiday 2007 collection. This drop mainly consists of outerwear and accessories.
They released a classic Varsity Jacket, a pea coat, down jackets and quilted shirts. The down jackets and quilted shirts come in several colorways. Branding is rather subtle on most pieces in this drop.
In terms of accessories the brand released sunglasses. They released two colorways of the classic Wayfairer model and another more modern style, also in two colorways.

Mishka is one of those brands that has strongly evolved in the past couple of years and went from a t-shirt brand to a brand with a full collection. Especially this year they made some big steps. Also the brand has its very own direction and brand image, which is reflected in every piece they present. It can the the graphics or simply specific colors, that one clearly associates with them.
The Mishka Holiday 2007 collection is right now being shipped to accounts around the globe. It consists of t-shirts, denim, hoodies, crewneck sweaters, as well as jackets, knitwear and caps. You will find both loud all-over print graphics as well as subtle basics in the collection, which overall has a good balance.

Here we have a really nice new pack to be released. The Nike Dunk Hi Premium Destroyers and the Dunk Hi Subzero Down Jacket.
The Dunk Hi Destroyers comes for the second time, once again inspired by the classic American varsity jacket, this time in a bordeaux/grey colorway. The Dunk Hi Subzero Down Jacket is a great piece and also looks like the down version of a varsity jacket. What makes this piece special? Actually it has many attributes of the tech pack, such as waterproof zippers and ventilation. We saw the jacket live a couple of weeks ago and the quality is on point.
This pack already gives a hint at what you can expect from the 25th anniversary of the Dunk that is coming next year. It is now available at Atmos. After the jump many detail shots of both pieces.

As part of their Holiday 2007 collection Canadian sneaker store Goodfoot will be releasing a Varsity Jacket. The jacket feature a large “Goodfoot” embroidery over the front of the jacket, while the sleeve carries an updated version of the Northern League Champions patch as seen on last year’s Goodfoot Stadium Jackets. Overall it is a very classic piece, all black with some white accents on the cuffs. Look out for a December release of the jacket.

Once again Visvim has released some interesting new product. Among the most interesting new products is the Gore Windstopper Varsity Jacket. The design simple, subtle and the quality superior to almost everything on the market. Ventilation under the sleeves and Gore Windstopper to keep you warm this fall season.

Another very interesting item is the Juneau shirt. We can clearly say, we have never seen a shirt like this. The chest pocket is glued onto the shirt, not embroidered, and features a zipper. It looks interesting, we are not sure if we are big fans though. Pics via Reinforce.

Head Porter Plus released these last couple of weeks most of their Fall/Winter 2007 outerwear. In the line-up you find down jackets, down vests, varsity jackets and a pea coat. Each piece comes in a line-up of 5 colors. Both the varsity jacket and the pea coat feature a warm quilted inner lining. Just like we are used from the brand, the pieces stay simple in terms of look, but all come in premium quality and have a great attention to detail.
