Unionmade continues to impress with their outstanding line-up of collaboration items with Goldenbear. The latest piece to catch our eye is the Jenner Jacket. We love the use of different color leathers and wools on the upper of the jacket, reflected in the cuffs and collar as well. The colors have been chosen so well, that even though there are many different ones on the upper, the overall outcome is still a pretty easy to wear varsity jacket. The jacket is now available online for 375 USD.

Kith gets together with Pendleton on a Made in USA Varsity Jacket Collection for Holiday 2011. Manufactured by Goldenbear, fabrics from the Pendleton archive were chosen for this collaborative collection.

“There are four styles total; Kilim Green Navajo with Brown leather sleeves and dark brown wool body, Bravestar Navajo with Grey leather sleeves and grey wool body, Kilim Red Navajo with Tan nubuck featured for the full body and sleeves, and Pecos Navajo with White leather sleeves and grey wool body.”

The jackets are releasing today at 11am EST at Kith stores in Brooklyn and New York City, as well as the Kith online store and are priced at 400-450 USD. The brown leather one seen here above, is in our opinion the most timeless pieces in the series.

Ronnie Fieg gives us a look at a leopard print Kith varsity jacket with wool ribbing and terry cloth lining.

This one’s for me. Growing up, my mother collected leopard shoes and clothing and has been wearing leopard furs since I was a kid. I always loved the print I remember having leopard sheets for years lol. A few weeks after deciding to open the Kith shop, I went material shopping and it took forever to find this leopard fabric which was under a bunch of shit and felt like it was laying there for years. Even though it was just sitting there for a while it was expensive as shit but worth every penny. Producing garments in New York City is very expensive and isn’t easy but when I throw this jacket on it feels amazing knowing I produced the piece literally around the block from the shop.

This jacket will be available November 25, 2011 for Black Friday at the Flagship Kith shop as well as online on Kithnyc.com.

After numerous inquiries in regards to their Fall/Winter 2011 Brooklyn Circus Varsity Jackets, the BKc is finally set to drop the first release with the “Charlie Brown.”

Made of 100% Black Melton Wool, Satin Lining, Top Quality Luggage Brown Leather. No detail was overlooked, from the shawl-collar knit, marble buttons (instead of snaps), the BKc tailored-casual fit and ofcourse the classic BKc chenille “B”. Made in USA.

This release is a limited drop for Black Friday and it will be available at the BKc locations in San Francisco and Brooklyn, as well as their web site.

Nike Sportswear celebrates Swedish footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s glorious career with a bespoke NSW Destroyer Jacket based on his tattoos:

On a standard varsity jacket, letters and patches would be sewn on to tell the world about the achievements of the athlete wearing it. But when it came to this jacket it was decided to use some of Zlatan’s tattoos and mirror these on the destroyer jackets exterior. To make it authentic Nike Sportswear involved Zlatan’s tattoo artist Christian Wagner to guide them and fashion designer Julia Hederus to help translate his tattoos onto the fabric of the jacket.

The jacket will be on display at Sneakersnstuff in Stockholm and at Precinct 5 in Amsterdam for one month starting November 21, 2011.

Bape teams up with Ebbets Field Flannels on another product for Holiday 2011, after already having worked with them on a series of caps. This time they decided to work on a nice classic varsity jacket. It comes with a nice navy/red wool body with patch details on the front, large embroideries on the back and light beige leather sleeves, matching the pocket details. The jacket certainly has a bit of a vintage vibe going on. Look out for it at Bape stores now.

October’s Very Own by Drake and Roots join forces to release this very limited edition Varsity Jacket. Previously unavailable to the public, the jacket will be released globally at fine retailers around the world, with Nomad being the exclusive retailer in Canada. They will release the jacket on Saturday, November 5th, 2011 at their Richmond Street location. Originally produced as Drake/October’s Very Own’s tour jacket for his Away From Home tour, the jacket has been updated with the current O.V.O logos and with Drake’s Take Care album title embroidered onto the jacket.
