This coming weekend Sophnet will be releasing its first Spring/Summer 2011 items. Among them you will find a nice looking 2Tone down vest and a series of 3-Pack blank tees with subtle logo hit on the bottom. The tees come as crewnecks, v-necks and  tank tops.

Japanese brand SEEth has teamed up with retailer Anoutcommune on a solid wool outerwear collection for the new year. As part of the collection they present mountain parkas, vests, jackets and more, all featuring grey melton wool uppers. We really like the simple design, with a focus on materials and details.

Once again Boston boutique Concepts gets together with Canada Goose, this time to collaborate on the Alberta Vest for Fall/Winter 2010.

“Being that Concepts is located in New England, we value and appreciate the dedication to the design of product built to keep us warm regardless of temperature and elements we are forced to endure during our winter months.

Modifying the Alberta Vest design, we created something that doesn’t compromise the heritage and dedication to quality outerwear Canada Goose is known for.

Using an Arctic-Tech waterproof shell, 625 fill power white duck down for the body & removable hood, fleece lined pockets with soft leather under pocket flaps and side seam zippers – our interpretation of this CG classic vest is now ready for use on the streets of Harvard Square.”

A beautiful new down vest has released from the Trussardi 1911 Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. Featuring an all premium black leather side and one featuring heavy embroideries, you get the perfect compromise from the piece. The vest is now available from Restir.

In an interesting collaboration Garbstore has linked up with Penfield. Rather than using the standard Penfield vest as a base, like most others do, they developed a new silhouette – the 1930s Life Preserver Vest. The name says it all. The down vest comes in black with nice leather details on the zippers and an added toggle closure. The vest is now available from Flatspot.

Japanese brand NEXUSVII always does things a little different and yet manages to continuously offer an outstanding range of product. The latest one to be released is the Madmaxx Leather Down Vest. The buttoned vest comes with a premium lamb leather upper in several colorways, featuring stitching details on the leather and further features on the back. The most impressive detail is for sure the lining, which is made of vintage Hermes, Chanel, Fendi scarves.

Dr. Romanelli has gotten together for the second time with Tetsuzo Okubo from A Love Movement under the Doctor Love Project. For Fall/Winter 2010 they present a series of down vests mixing vintage military with the custom lettering of Tetsuzo Okubo. The vests were made specifically for Atlanta boutique Deka and will be released in the coming weeks.

New releases from the FsF joint collaboration between fragment, SOPH, and FYi are arriving at SOPH retailers on September 18, 2010. The Down Vest and 2L Mountain Parka each come in four colorways – black, green, navy and beige – and a constructed with strong attention to detail.
