You read that right: Nintendo and West Coast Customs of MTV’s Pimp My Ride fame apparently are in cahoots and will be unveiling a special project at the upcoming LA Auto Show on November 17. Autoblog speculates that the easy tie-in could lie within the upcoming release of the Mario Kart 7 for Nintendo 3DS, which would make all the sense in the world given the nature of that game. I guess we will find out soon enough as the show is just around the corner. Stay tuned for more details.

Black Ops has ran its course and Battlefield 3 does not seem to be all that it was cracked up to be, but thankfully, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is not too far away from its release date on November 8th. Call of Duty’s Youtube channel has been gradually releasing tidbits of information pertaining to the game, and here is look at the latest clip that discusses some of the new weapons found in the game. The Call of Duty gaming franchise has undoubtedly been an absolute juggernaut in the gaming landscape and with its imminent release in November, we are sure to see a slew of products done in collaboration with Modern Warfare 3. This project here between San Diego’s Munitio and MW3 makes for a perfect match. Munitio’s 9mm bullet earphones, which dropped last year, have been updated here in 2011 with the Billets TM 9mm tactical earphones model done up with MW3 branding. This is a sport version coming in at a lower price point. These bad boys drop October 23rd, but are available now for pre-order at Munitio.

Sports Illustrated and Need for Speed have teamed up to deliver a unique racing and video game experience. 2011 SI Swimsuit cover model Irina Shayk and 2011 SI Swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen will be integrated into the game as “Mila Belova and Nikki Blake; lifelong friends competing in an illicit, heart-pounding race from San Francisco to New York in search of a $25 million jackpot.” Out November 15, 2011.

We present the official music video for the Yelawolf song “No Hands” off of his upcoming album, Radioactive. Inspired by Ubisoft’s Driver San Francisco video game, the music video was shot at several of San Francisco’s landmark locations and features Yelawolf driving the real-life Driver car throughout the City by the Bay.

From a marketing perspective an interesting mash-up. Yelawolf gets a video produced and Ubisoft gets promotion for their upcoming game release.

Yesterday we gave you a first look at the all new Nintendo Wii U, to be released late 2012. The new controller is certainly the most interesting feature, but we could not really imagine yet how it will change gameplay. The above trailer now gives a better understanding of how the controller interacts with the console. In some cases the added gameplay is no question, but we are not sure if it might also distract from the big screen in some cases. Make up your mind and check it out!

Nintendo Wii U Game Console

After presenting earlier on the new PlayStation Vita handheld console, we can present now the latest from Nintento, who has just announced their next generation home console – the Wii U.

The Wii U is Nintento’s entrance into the HD graphics market. The most special feature is certainly the new generation controller, which comes with a 6.2 inch touchscreen, that also works as a second display, showing you the same as on your main screen. Furthermore it can provide players with additional important information. Furthermore the Wii U can run older generation games and comes with motion-sensor capabilities.

The Nintendo Wii U will hit retailers somewhere between April and December 2012.
