New York City-based photographer Mel D. Cole teamed with etnies for a limited release sneaker and t-shirt. Following the release, we spoke with Mel to gain greater insight into this project, his photos, the launch party and shooting Kanye nude.

Tonight, Villageslum.com is celebrating its relaunch. If you have ever been to a good party in New York, you can be pretty sure Mel from Village Slum was right there to document it.
We present the relaunch party together with Leroy Jenkins and a bunch of other sponsors. Mel will also be giving out some prints tonight of some of the most iconic moments that he documented and trust us when we say, there were many.
