Fruition Las Vegas, the first and only streetwear vintage store, has relaunched their website. The new site is much cleaner and presents more properly their impressive knowledge and stock in the vintage market. As a highlight they now also officially cary the Jeremy Scott brand, as one of a very few retailers in the US.
Should you be in Las Vegas next week for the tradeshows, then this is a must hit spot!

Fila will be releasing in Japan two vintage sneakers. The Rialto Lo, that has been popular in the 80’s and 90’s will come back in three colorways – white, brown and red. The colors are mostly faded and the white is an off-white, to underline the vintage look. The mix of perforated and other premium leathers with the stitching details also looks good. The 70’s Fitness Hi comes in white and features nice logo details. Both sneakers will be released in a limited edition of 100 pairs at Flauge.

Now Garbstore got together with Battle Lake Outdoors, for their first collaboration, on some backpacks.
Garbstore, Ian Paley’s new clothing line is in actual fact a three dimensional creative exercise compromising the men’s wear clothing line, a store as well as the Garbstore website. Ian Paley is the founder & designer of seminal British label One True Saxon, Senior Designer for Paul Smith Jeans, Red-Ear, R.Newbold and Thomas Burberry & Levi’s Strauss. Garbstore aspires to be and draws its influence from what can be coined unfamiliar Vintage. The Vintage references are both obvious and subliminal. This menswear Collection is based on Ian’s passion for casual clothing started to be produced after the Second World War with a more formal quality than before. The sensation of finding dead stock perfect vintage clothing and include some vintage parts or reference points, is one of his rules. All products are made using only vintage union machines and are in terms of their fit reproductions from genuine vintage clothing.
The principles of Garbstore lead them to work with Battle Lake Outdoors to create a series of perfectly crafted, high quality backpacks in a series of colorways. Garbstore will open their London store mid Fall and will launch their website in a couple of weeks. Thus here already a first taste of what there is to come. We are already excited to see where the brand is going and will definitely keep you posted on its progress.

As we are also big watch fans we definitely find it interesting what Bellum Classics always has to offer. Today we present you their Fall 2007 collection.
 This Fall ’07 Bellum Classics unveils The Love Collection!  The guys over at Bellum Classics continue to recreate luxury classics with their distinct style transforming vintage pieces into modern works of art!

The Love Collection is a line of handpicked luxury watches customized to the Bellum standard. Ranging from obscure, obsolete, vintage watch brands to high-end timepieces from the 1940s through 1980s, all pieces must exude a classic style while still embracing a hint of edge. Timeless and captivating, collections from Bellum Classics include several styles and monthly web exclusive limited editions. Clients can also privately collaborate with Bellum Classics to create made-to-order, customized pieces. Housed in its own custom made box, each watch comes with a custom designed Bellum Classics t-shirt.

Here you see the latest special release by Levi’s Vintage Clothing Japan – the Top Button Rings. Basically they created rings with the classic Levi’s Vintage buttons. The rings come in both sterling silver and gold.
We definitely like these better then the recent college rings by Levi’s Vintage, that came covered in diamonds and other stones. These Top Button rings are clean and make for Levi’s also much more sense. They are available now in Japan.

GRN Appletree was also at United and came out from LA for the show. The brand known for their vintage material sourcing and application on hoodies and caps had some nice pieces to show for the coming Fall/Winter 2007 collections.
Once again we did not want to concentrate on the t-shirts. There is so much out there, that these days we prefer looking at the cut & sew that a brand develops to judge what we think about the collection. GRN Appletree has some very sophisticated cut & sew in their line with interesting designs and definitely very different from all other brands that we came across. Also they were showing a pretty extensive denim program this time.

Overkill has just received the Rudolf Dassler Collection by Puma, one of their premium collections. Rooted in heritage sport and the revolutionary spirit of the pre-PUMA era, Rudolf Dassler Schuhfabrik is a modern Sport-Fashion collection that combines vintage silhouettes with a street edge. Established by Puma‘s founder in the small town of Herzogenaurach, the brand’s sporting heritage dates back to 1948.
The vintage sneakers that got released feature premium leather  upper – smooth leather and velour leather, also perforated smooth leather inside. The embeded golden logo applications underline the old fashion style.

Nike has released a dedicated Nike Vintage Running webiste and you should definitely go and check it out. The website is designed like an old magazine/newspaper and talks about Jogging, Running Tips, etc, but all as if it was 30 years ago – interesting and funny.

They also present the entire footwear line-up of the Nike Vintage Running Collection and announce as of July 21rst an online store.
