New product from the visvim Fall/Winter 2009 Collection has been released. The drop includes the Valdez Down Coat 2L in two colorways. Furthermore the Japanese brand presents the Ahab wool shirts with the matching cotton/wool Survey Pants. The new product is now in stock at NOS.

Some new pieces from the visvim Fall/Winter 2009 Collection will be released this week. The Bear Boots-Folk are exclusive to the F.I.L. stores and are a more casual take on the hiking boot, featuring premium suede uppers. The Valdez Down Coat 2L is visvim’s take on the arctic parka, featuring fur on the hood and further leather details around pockets and on the hood.

Today the announcement came in, that Moncler has joined forces with Japanese brand Visvim. The collaborative collection of men’s apparel and accessories is called Moncler V.

“Remo Ruffini, Moncler’s chairman and creative director, said the collection will bow for fall 2010. The line, which will be priced similarly to Moncler’s regular collection, will consist of about 20 pieces, including apparel items, accessories and footwear.

Visvim designer Hiroki Nakamura said he aims to craft well-structured basics that draw on Moncler’s alpine roots. Ruffini said the collection resembles many looks from Moncler’s archives going back to the Fifties and Sixties. The new men’s line will have a select distribution network consisting of about 150 stores worldwide, including no more than five or six in the U.S. and 25 in Japan.

Separately, Ruffini disclosed he has been in contact with his friend Pharrell Williams and they are thinking about working together on some customized items for the musician. But he stressed it’s too soon to say if the collaboration could be expanded to the retail market.”

visvim has released the Ballistic 22L backpack. The backpack is slightly larger than their previous 20L model and comes in a really nice grey colorway. We like that it has all the technical features one cold wish for, but maintains a not too technical look. As usual the bottom of the backpack comes in a premium leather, in this case tonal. The backpack is now available from the honeyee.store.

Once again visvim and Sophnet have worked on some luggage pieces from the visvim Ballistic Collection. For Fall/Winter 2009 they chose the Ballistic 20 backpack and the Ballistic Lumber 8 waist bag. Both pieces come in navy with ballistic upper and leather bottom. The two bags will be released on October 31st at Sophnet retailers.

The visvim Beuys Trekker SF-Folk that we first previewed last week in a series of colorways, will finally be released tomorrow, October 28th. For further images of the boot please check again here.

Along with the new footwear that we presented to you earlier today, visvim also released some nice new jackets. The Fluxus Smock Hickory, matches some of the sneakers that have also released and our favorite is the new Alta Jacket, a modern take on the biker jacket, similar to styles that you would see coming from Belstaff. Of course visvim adds the technical outer shell and other nice premium details to it. The jackets are now available at NOS.

New footwear from the Visvim Fall/Winter 2009 Collection has been released. The drop includes new low top and high top white leather sneakers, the Jaipur Hi and Jaipur Lo Hickory, as well as some new boots and other new footwear. As usual you can find some great solid pieces in the line-up. The footwear is now available at visvim retailers.

Visvim reveals a couple of their latest F.I.L. exclusives. The Deckhand Jacket is seen with a grey sheep lining, while a Stole is offered in a checked pattern as well as a cashmere version (unpictured). Both of these items will be available Thursday October 22, 2009 at F.I.L., along with a gang of other Visvim apparel and denim releases.
