For the launch of their new Strada Boot, Volta gets together with illustrator Anna Parini. Parini created an illustrated story for the introduction of the boots – Two friends, two different paths to follow…and their own field notes.

Inspired by the 70s Italian “pedule” (soft hiking footwear), the Strada Boots were designed for urban-outdoor leisure time. A combination of premium Italian leather and waterproof nylon on the upper, built on the Vibram CT® cross-training sole, the Strada Boots come in two different color combinations for Holiday 2011 – ivory-brown and red-tan and are available at selected stores around the globe, including Steven Alan New York, Excelsior Milan, Freudian Kicks Oslo, Journal Standard Tokyo and the Volta online store.

This week Volta presents a nice clip of their upcoming Volta BCN electric motorcycle. The 34 horsepower bike is charged in 2 hours and goes up to 120 km/h. It connects with your smartphone to tell you how charged the battery is and on top gives you any other info you might want to know about the bike.

Italian footwear brand Volta presents for Fall/Winter 2011 the ‘Animalier’ Series. Their classic low top shoe and boot get a nice premium leather and leopard fur treatment on the upper. Furthermore they added a leather mid-sole and Vibram outer sole to the silhouettes, which makes them more suitable for the colder months of the year. The vegetable tanned Tuscan cowhide leather looks great and will certainly age nicely. Premium retailers, including Bottega BackDoor will be receiving these shortly.

Italian footwear label Volta visits Tokyo in the first video episode of their X-Traveling Series, produced to promote their new Strada sneaker.

Italian brand Volta gives us a first look at their new Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. As part of their classic line they present the mid top and low top, coming in some beautiful new materials and colorways for the coming season. The shoes shown here will be released to retailers July 2011.

Italian footwear brand Volta will present this week their new Strada style. Developed in collaboration with Vibram, the Strada is a cassual performance shoe, both an interesting combination and a first for the Italian brand. Technical fabrics and an innovative sole have been added to the Volta silhouette.

The official launch of the new shoe will take place at Soto Berlin this coming Wednesday.

Italian footwear label Volta offers a first look at their forthcoming SS11 collection. Sticking with their signature Classic model, the label mixes up the materials with canvas, deer-leather, linen and camo options for several fresh new looks. They’ve also produced a new higher cut model called the Summer-Boot (preview previously here). Volta has also announced the development of an all-new shape, done in collaboration with Vibram. Stay tuned for a look at the  brand new shoe in the coming weeks.

Sticking with their signature Classic silhouette, the Italian label does exactly what the name would imply – you guessed it – all-canvas uppers. Offered in white, brown, army or navy. Now available at select Volta retailers.

Italian brand Volta debuted at Bread & Butter a couple of years ago with their first and only silhouette. That is until now. Today we got a first look at their upcoming new boot silhouette, which is basically a high rise version of their low top. For Fall/Winter 2010 the boot comes in a series of premium materials, using both suede and leathers.

‘Special #777′ is the first limited edition offering from young Italian footwear label Volta. For the first time, the label used a suede ribbed collar, rather than nylon, giving it a different shape and feel. The upper is a combination grey suede and white leather with calf leather laces. Limited to 504 pairs, each pair is hand marked with the code #777 and will only be available at 21 doors around the globe (7 in Italy, 7 in Europe, and 7 Internationally). Arrives next week at retailers such as Dover Street Market, Wood Wood, and Hanon.
