Two solid pieces from the Wacko Maria Fall/Winter 2009 Collection have been released. The Stadium Jacket comes in a nice dark grey colorway and even though it features extensive embroideries on the back, the jacket does not seem overloaded. Next up is the melton wool vest. It was inspired heavily by a classic blazer and is available in two colorways this season. Both pieces are now in stock at ELT.

We can give you a first look at the Wacko Maria Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The Japanese brand presents a nice selection of outerwear, pants, as well as accessories. Especially the jackets in this preview are looking very nice and are also a little more subtle compared to their previews collections. We like that Wacko Maria goes their own route and continues to be very different from the rest of the Japanese market, which sometimes seems very monotone. The collection can now be pre-ordered from Hybaa.

Wacko Maria once again worked with Porter on some summer canvas tote bags. The bags are available in black and military green and feature a subtle metal logo on the exterior. The interior comes with a polka dot design and further small pockets. The tote bags are now available from Elt.

From Japanese brand Wacko Maria comes the new UK Field Jacket. The jacket is a nice light version of the regular military jacket and in true summer spirit it comes in a strong red colorway. Embroidery details are featured on the chest and on the sleeves. The jacket is now available at Deepinside Inc.

In the previous post we gave you a first look at the soon to open Silly Thing store in Hong Kong. Now we will show you the special items that will be releasing at the opening this coming Saturday, August 16th.

Silly Thing presents a special opening box set, consisting of a t-shirt and of a dia show miniature. Furthermore they made a range of t-shirts, as well as a nice range of tote bags and a shirt with designer Julie Verhoeven. Silly Thing will also be offering an array of items out of the Home collection, consisting of plates, ashtrays and other pieces. Last but not least, there is a Jam Home Made For Silly Thing collection coming up and a couple of Wacko Maria items.

Yesterday we presented you the Wack Maria x Porter x Beams collaboration. Today we show you the Japanese brands collaboration with Converse on the classic Chuck Taylor High. 
They kept the sneaker simple and just added a patch embroidery to the side-panels of it. The sneakers are now available at Hybaa.

Japanese labels Porter and Wacko Maria collaborated on a series of items for Japanese department store Beams. They worked on two messenger bags, a tote bagand also some wallets. The entire collection is inspired graphically by traditional Hawaii and thus comes with colorful all-over prints.
The collaboration collection is now available at Beams.
