Complex launches a new “50 Favorite Sneakers” feature, this time with rapper Wale. “Since his early mixtapes, the rapper Wale has been shouting out sneakers. From SBs to Foamposites, the DC native knows his kicks. It’s not just “I get these for free,” either. Wale’s debut album Attention Deficit drops tomorrow, November 10th, 2009. The following day, Wednesday, November 11th, Commonwealth and Interscope Records are holding a Meet & Greet with the artist at Commonwealth’s DC location. To commemorate the occasion, Commonwealth will be releasing a pair of exclusive Wale tees that same night. These tees will also be available at Commonwealth VA and online at Cmonwealth.com.

Since the Wale x Justice remix, there is some serious hype around Wale. Urb Magazine had the artist on the cover a while back and now took the occasion to collaborate with him and New Era on a cap. It comes in red, features a Wale 3Dembroidery on the front panels and the URB logo under the brim.

This week 10. Deep joins with D.C. naitive Wale to present "The Mixtape about Nothing" a tribute to the greatest program ever to be broadcasted through a cathode ray tube.

The Seinfeldian mix will be available for free download on on 10.deep.com and elitaste.com this coming Friday. Also available will be the limited edition "Serenity Now!" Tee (If you watch the show, you get the reference) for purchase at the 10 Spot. Each purchase made for the first week of June will come with a hard copy of the mixtape.
