“1987″ by Casio G-Shock, is an urban retro-style video shot on the streets of New York City, the home of BMX icon Nigel Sylvester. The video, titled 1987 the year Nigel was born, celebrates a collaborative timepiece between Casio G-Shock and Nigel. As an adult, Nigel looks back on his year of birth as a time of great creative freedom and experimentation. The film was created to capture that spirit.

The cinematography takes reference from classic arcade games. The sound design draws spirit from the associated 16 bit soundtracks that emanated from the computers of that time. The graphic approach pays homage to Casio.

New from Nooka for the holidays is the Zizm, a watch with a unique faceted crystal lens that produces a refracted view of time. This faceted surface creates a pattern that continues throughout the entire design of the timepiece including Nooka’s first silicone strap, and lucky for you we have 3 to give away!

As the Official Watchmaker of Formula 1 and at the occasion of the penultimate Grand Prix of the 2011 FIA Formula One World Championship, Hublot reveals the new F1 King Power Abu Dhabi. This exclusive limited edition of only 250 pieces has been especially designed in recognition to the Yas Marina Circuit which is considered as one of the most technologically advanced circuits in the world. Technically advanced materials have been chose both for the watch case and strap. We really like the color scheme of the watch with its overall black look, yet acqua accents.

Here comes the latest G-Shock collaboration. illest has produced a limited edition version of the DW-6900 watch, probably the iconic in the brand’s line-up. They have given the watch a safari look on the straps, with acqua accents around the dial and logo placement on the backlight and the dial, as well as engraved details on the back of the case. Overall the outcome is a classic G-Shock with nice details. The watch will be released at as a limited edition of 1000 at Fatlace stores in San Francisco and Los Angeles, as well as in their online store, where you can already pre-order it now.

Silas presents a couple of Christmas specials this year. Next to some jewelry, the most interesting product in the line-up is for sure their collaboration with G-Shock. The classic DW-5600 gets a little camouflage on the dial, some prints on the strap and of course logo on the dial and on the backlight. A release is scheduled for December 2011.

To celebrate the opening of The Gurus Shop in Hong Kong, they teamed up with the Bamford Watch Department. Together they produced two versions of the Rolex Sea-Dweller Deapsea. The watches feature an all black PVD upper, black dial and accents in orange and light blue on the dial and bezel. Both watches are now exclusively available from The Gurus Shop.

After having presented the first Project X Designs Stealth Submariners a while ago, we show you their latest style to be released November 2011. The Stealth MK I Rolex Submariner inspired by the historic models of the past and the legendary british SBS, combining subtle styling modifications with enhanced functionality.

Furthermore the watch comes with a matt finish case and bracelet, crown guard removal evoking the Bond Subs of the 1950s, military bars, STEALTH dial text in red, black dial lume, black bezel dot, skeletal hands and the edition number engraved on the back of the case. Swatch presents the new Hiding Ways New Gents Watch Collection for Holiday 2011. Their classic mid size model comes in 4 camouflage colorways, with the pattern being featured on both the dial and the straps. Look out for these in stores in the coming weeks.

Stussy presents their latest collaboration with G-Shock. This time they worked on teh G-001 ‘Jason’. We have to admit, it is not our favorite watch from the brand, but for Stussy fans still a great catch. The watch features a small Stussy logo on the dial and some nice details on the bracelet. It comes in a custom metal box and a matching t-shirt will also drop upon release, which is scheduled for November 11th, 2011.
