Louis Vuitton presents a both beautiful and modern new watch – the Louis Vuitton Tambour Regatta Automatic America’s Cup. Honoring the iconic sailing race, the watch comes in a sporty black case with matching black strap and nice accent colors. The watch comes in two versions, one limited to 720 pieces, the other one limited to 1800 pieces globally.
“Endowed with the automatic movement LV171 (Dubois-Dépraz), the automatic version offers the Regatta functions and countdown with visual indication while the quartz version offers a countdown with sound indication.
The two Tambour Regatta watches Automatic and Quartz America’s Cup linked aestheticism and performance. The case is made of rubber. The silhouette of the mythical trophy is engraved on the bracelet, on the dial and on the case which evokes the motives for the anti-skid surfaces of deck boats.”

G-Shock has worked on a second collaborative timepiece with Los Angeles based brand, The Hundreds. The two-tone black and white GWM5600TH-1 is simplistic in design, yet packs a powerful punch, incorporating G-Shock’s rugged and tough technical elements.
“On our second collaboration with Casio G-Shock, we wanted to involve the specific theme of travel and worldwide purpose. Since our last project, The Hundreds has continued to proliferate internationally and we were looking for a watch that could hold us down as we jet set around the globe. The Hundreds’ GWM5600TH-1 features world time for 48 cities, contained in a sleek, shock resistant, multi-purpose timepiece. We are very excited to have collaborated with Casio G-Shock on a piece that makes sense for all parties involved, “ said Bobby Hundreds.
The Hundreds’ motto is “Drawing Lines,” and what better to convey that message than the sharp contrast between black and white?
The GWM5600TH-1, features shock resistance, 200M water resistance, MB6 atomic timekeeping, tough solar power, full auto EL backlight, world time (29TZ/48 cities + UTC), 4 daily alarms and 1 snooze, 1/100th second stopwatch, countdown timer, and 12/24 hour formats.”
The G-Shock x The Hundreds GWM5600TH-1 Watch will be available March 2012 for $160 at The Hundreds Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, and Santa Monica locations and www.gshock.com.
The Hundreds also produced a video for the release of the new watch. While we do like the new watch very much, the video turned out less satisfying in our opinion. Have a look here below.
