hamilton watch 1 Hamilton ODC X 02 | Concept Of Time Travel

During last weeks Basel World watch fair, Hamilton has presented their new ODC X-02 watch. Fully aware of the current trend, Hamilton gave the futuristic watch an all black matt case.

“In a futuristic shaped case, appropriately modelled on the cross-section of an aircraft’s wing, this timepiece allows the wearer to be in three places at once. This is possible thanks to three separate, oblong dials, each revealing the time in a different location.”

The watch was inspired by Hamilton watch that appeared in Stanley Kubrick’s 1966 movie “2001: A Space Odyssey” and features a black titanium case and matching rubber strap. We really like the design and one can surely not argue about the quality. In terms of usability they should have consisdered an AM/PM indication, otherwise the three time zones might become complicated. The watch will be released in September 2009 and go for 1750 USD.

Take a more detailed look at the Hamilton ODC X-02 Watch after the jump.

nixon new watches front Nixon Spring/Summer 2009 Watches

We take a look at some of the new Nixon watches for Spring/Summer 2009. Nixon has certainly come a long way and owns a good amount of the market of mid-price watches. They have found a perfect balance between price and quality, offering both timeless and more unique pieces, at a pricepoint that allows you to change seasonal.

We especially like the new colorways of the 4220 PU Chrono divers watch and the new Time Teller. The 4220 Chrono comes in some nice summer colorways and with rubber bracelet. The Time Teller looks great tonal in strong colors.

Even though Bape has been inspired in obvious ways by Rolex on all their watches, which they also call Bapex, we always liked the line-up a lot. That said we also like the new Bapex Military Watch, which comes in a green and a navy colorway, features the Bape logo head on the dial and a cotton bracelet.
