Some of you might have heard already about Michael Jordan’s sons Marcus and Jeffrey launching the lifestyle website, heir-jordan.com. For now they have only announced a 2012 release. Today the 3rd video teaser has been released. Check it out here above.

It is still surprising seeing brands that have been around for such a long time only launch their web presence now. In Japan we come across this more often than elsewhere though. Today Jun Takahashi announces that on October 22nd the brand will be showing its Spring/Summer 2012 Women’s Collection online and if you want to watch it on their new website, you have to register (starting today) and get a password.

Yesterday, Jay-Z launched his brand new lifestyle website, Life + Times, which covers a wide range of topics. “Welcome to the future …” check out the launch video below:

This week New Balance launched the new website www.nb574.com. On the site they document the lives of creatives, including visual artists, sound engineers, graphic designers and others. Next to these documentary style short films, the site of course also reports about the latest interesting products and projects coming from the iconic sneaker brand. Make sure to check it out here.

Today we came across a fantastic personal blog by Google Creative Lab’s Ed Kim. Kim has launched his personal blog called “Wear Today”, which he shows what he is wearing every day illustrated. From Band of Outsiders to uniform experiment and Paul Smith, he certainly shows off some good taste. Via notcot.

Fluff-SB.com has gone live to coincide with the Fluff SB launch event in Barcelona. The site features videos and photos of Nike SB’s Euro team alongside an interview with photographer Marcel Veldmen. Check it out.

adidas has just launched  a new adidas Skateboarding website. The cleanly designed site is packed with a lot of great material, including a video project called “Diagonal” featuring their European skate team and some detailed information on the launch of the new Dennis Busenitz pro model. One of our favorite parts is the animated Gonz “Shmoo” character that floats around encouraging you to register.

Visvim has finally launched their official website. We have been waiting for years and now finally they took the step and present Visvim.tv. The website offers background information on the Visvim Spring/Summer 2009 Collection, the F.I.L. flagship stores and other important background info on the brand. Check it out here.

Bape has today officially launched a dedicated website for the US. At us.bape.com you find a news section, Spring/Summer 2009 Collection presentation and the online store will also be launching soon. This is just another step in the worldwide expansion of the brand.

It will be interesting to watch how the brand balances exclusivity and expansion. Its a difficult subject and there is no easy solution. So far, if you are a fan of the brand or not, they managed this balance pretty well, still selling out most of their stock. In the US people still had to make the trip to the stores in NYC and LA, that is over once the online store launches.

We have good news for all Maiden Noir fans. The Seattle brand was always kind of difficult to get a hold of, has now finally properly launched their website.
