WeSC and The Standard present a collaboration that includes the best of the two worlds: the creativity, people and punk mentality of the Superlative Conspiracy together with The Standard’s irreverent and playful sensibility and careful consideration for design.

WeSC and The Standard present capsule accessory collections for each Standard hotel in Miami, Hollywood, Downtown LA and New York. The collection includes items for travel or everyday life: travel wallet, passport holder, wallet, luggage tag, and iPhone case – in colors representative of each hotel’s identity. Also included is a WeSC x The Standard premium retro style headphone.

To celebrate the collaboration between the two brands, WeSC and The Standard proudly present a series of short films created by a group of artists who are an active part of the Superlative Conspiracy and whose creativity represent WeSC and The Standard’s art, travel and music sensibility. Above we have an exclusive look at the Miami video by FriendsWithYou.

WeSC have teamed up French visual art duo Kuntzel + Deygas, as music and sound are part of their environment, to create their own headphones. The duo’s marks can be seen along the top of the band, with the phrase “Speak louder please” lazer etched in, and more artwork, including the Caperino & Peperone dogs, featured underneath and on the sides. These headphones are available now from colette.

As part of their Fall 2011 Collection, Swedish brand WeSC gets together with one of their brand ambassadors, Jason Lee, on a limited edition pair of headphones. The Maraca NYC headphones come in both white and black, both featuring the actor/skater’s signature on the inside, as well as gold metal details. Look out for these in stores this season.

Announced earlier this month, we can present you the first product to result from a new collaboration between Swedish brand WeSC and Wu-Tang’s RZA.

Under the ‘Chambers by RZA’ name, the two are releasing a headphone collection, featuring a premium style and a street style. The headphone feature active noise cancellation technology, music sharing, and LED light accents. Both styles will release in a variety of colors in the near future. We will of course keep you posted.

After having talked in one of our latest Highsnobiety TV episodes with WeSC brand manager Thomas Finn about their upcoming collaboration with Smart on the Brabus ForTwo car for Spring 2012, we can show you some first images of the end result of the project today. The car comes in a matte gold colorway with matte black roof and wheels, as well as black interior.

The Swedish fashion brand added lots of details to the small city car. We cannot wait to see it on the road in 2012.

Swedish brand WeSC teams up again with Retrosuperfuture aka SUPER, on a series of sunglasses for Summer 2011. Based on their previous collaboration, the two brands present a new frame in overall three colorways for the new season.

“We revisited the confidently kooky MOOSE model, first released with WeSC last season, in three new color-ways: a glossy black; an upbeat light tortoise matte, and a subtle transparent grey. As always we have used only the finest of materials: top-notch acetate and Carl Zeiss lenses are guaranteed. The detail on the bridge of the MOOSE gives the shades a tongue-in-cheek futuristic feel, while the WeSC decor hinges are in keeping with the brand’s playfulness. Made with an expert Italian touch, without losing that upbeat Swedish appeal.”

WeSC has been working hard on their still rather young footwear offering. The latest sneaker to join is the Ahab. The mid top was inspired by the classic boat shoe, a fusion that we see quite often these days. The sneaker comes for Summer 2011 in two new canvas colorways, featuring white leather laces and a suede heel tab. Sneakersnstuff (storeguide) has them in stock now.

In their latest issue, Arkitip magazine gets together with Swedish brand WeSC and documents the so-called WeActivists, as the brand likes to call it – people that inspire the brand and that have been actively involved in it over the years. We actually do not know of another brand involving designers, artists, skateboarders and other tastemakers in such a pro-active way, making it a very interesting and also natural collaboration more on a friendship than on a business level. The issue features Stash, Mode 2, Yasumasa Yonehara and many others. Furthermore it comes packaged with a fresh pair of WeSC headphones.

WeSC has prepared for an early release of their first ever footwear collection. First styles from their Spring 2011 sneaker line have surfaced today at select retailers. They present the Hagelin Mid Top Sneaker in several leather versions, the Clopton low top sneaker and the collaboration with Stash on the Emerson low top sneaker.
