After having presented the bags and the clothing from the new White Mountaineering Spring/Summer 2012 Collection, we now take a closer look at the sneakers from the line.

Similar to their clothing, the Japanese brand presents a high top and a mid top sneaker this upcoming season, each coming with a series of different patterns on the upper, including jacquard batik pattern, flower camouflage pattern and a minimal jacquard pattern.

We take a more detailed look at the upcoming White Mountaineering Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. The Japanese brand has created a rather unique spot for itself in the market, pushing hard the outdoor and mountaineering style, but in very unique ways. There are not many if any at all, brands that we would put in the same category.

Looking at the new collection, they once again ensure their expertise in outerwear, offering a very unique selection of high tech material infused garments. The prints, embroideries and patterns are also once again very impressive. Furthermore White Mountaineering makes great use of different materials, mixing them and working them in patchworks on garments.

White Mountaineering is without a doubt one of the most interesting brands coming from Japan at the moment. Offering an innovative outdoor look, the brand always plays with interesting materials and patterns in its collections.

Here we take a look at their collaboration with Porter for Spring/Summer 2012. The three piece offering, includes two backpacks and an army bag, all three made of used denim and featuring nice leather details at the bottom and on the upper.

White Mountaineering has a knack for combining a distinct level of sophistication coupled with true performance functionality. Their outerwear pieces shine with each seasonal release, as further illustrated here. The two jackets shown here are both solid winter options both waterproof, windproof and laced with a GORE-TEX performance shell. The vest is comprised of of a wind-resistant Pertex Shield that is also quick drying. Each piece is a very viable option for this Winter, but that hooded Boa jacket is looking especially enticing. Today we can give you a video recap of the recent runway show of White Mountaineering in Tokyo, where the brand showed their upcoming Spring/Summer 2012 Collection.

This season the brand explores a “Dune Rover” theme, imagining a man’s quest to survive in harsh desert conditions. As such the tones are mainly beige and brown with many leather and nubuck accents. Throughout the collection you will also find various patterns inspired by interior design motifs such as parquet flooring, wallpapers and curtains. Additionally, WM worked with ample denim this season, mixing different washes and patchwork effects into their excellent and innovative patterns. Enjoy!

From Tokyo we present the new White Mountaineering Spring/Summer 2012 Collection, which was recently shown on the runway. The brand has certainly made a strong push in recent seasons. Sticking to their signature look, they present layered looks with lots of patterns next season. The collection features a lot of denim pieces and otherwise uses mostly beige, brown and black tones. It continues to be one of the most interesting newer brands from Japan, as they have created their very own look, different from everything else out there.

We get a first look at some great looking mid top sneakers from the White Mountaineering Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. Most of hte uppers are made of interesting canvas patterns and accented with leather piping and suede panels on the heel and toe cap. It looks like these will come in three colorways, as seen after the jump.

This is right down our alley – for Fall/Winter 2011 White Mountaineering presents the ‘Loretan’ tassle loafer. It comes in brown and black suede options, with contrasting stitching details and a fur lining. These will be comfortable, and will keep you feet warm, while also looking really good.

After having presented the sneakers, boots and Porter luggage series from the White Mountaineering Fall/Winter 2011 Collection, we take a look at what the brand is best known for – their excellent outerwear.

Fantastic patterns and innovative jacket styles are paired with futuristic fabrics by Gore-Tex and Pertex. The outcome is an entirely new look for technical clothing, which until now usually stuck to rather standard colors.

After the jump we present some of our favorite pieces from the White Mountaineering outerwear program for the coming season.

Japanese label White Mountaineering has tons of great gear for FW11. Following a look at the Porter accessories and the sneakers, we now examine their boot range. The collection includes two pairs of mountain boots (the embroidered ones were featured in HS Print Issue 3) “tall fur boots,” and a thick-soled stomper. Each boot is made in Japan and comes in several colors.
