White Mountaineering did not only work with Timberland, but they also got together again with Porter. This season’s theme is camouflage. They offer a range of backpacks, tote bags and large size wallets, featuring different colors of camouflage on the upper.

Once again Timberland gets together with White Mountaineering. As part of the Japanese brand’s Fall/Winter 2009 Collection they present a collaboration on the 7Eye Boot. It comes in black and in beige and features a Vibram outer sole. The boots look great and are a nice update of the classic Timberland boot. Look out for a release soon.

White Mountaineering has been one of our favorite Japanese brands of late, and their latest footwear is no exception. Taking clear inspiration from the Vans Old Skool silhouette, the White Mountaineering Standard sneaker comes in either black and white or black on black with a tonal camouflage printed upper. The oversized foxing stripe on the midsole make these a nice alternative to Vans for this summer, though the price of ¥18,900 (approx. $193 USD) may nullify that argument for most. Available now at Figure Shizuoka through Star-J.

Japanese brand White Mountaineering has been on our radar for a while now. They consistently present strong collections, inspired by the outdoors. For Summer 2009 the brand presents the “Mocaflauge” collection. The line is based on black and white tonal camouflage patterns, with only very few pieces coming in different colors than that.

Once again the line-up is strong though. Both casual and technical gear make up the collection, which is completed with a nice range of Porter bags, sneakers and sunglasses.

Two nice new messenger bags are coming from Japanese brand White Mountaineering in collaboration with Porter. The bags are clearly made for summer and come in lightweight materials. Also the colors hint at the season. They come in all white and oliver green. The bags are now available at Ark.

White Mountaineering continues to work with Porter and has released the Big Should Bag. Coming in a red/blue and black/white colorway, the bag offers lots of useful compartments and an overall solid design. For the days without the bike, this is a nice alternative and quality option. The bags are now available at Arkkaban.

White Mountaineering and Porter get once again together as part of the White Mountaineering Spring/Summer 2009 “Eclectic” collection. Along the lines of the collection theme, they created two sizes of tote bags, as well as a wallet, each coming in a white and a navy blue colorway.

Japanese brand White Mountaineering has worked with Timberland on the 3 Eyelet boat shoe. The all-time classic comes in a navy blue colorway with white sole, white stitching, white inner sole and matching white leather laces.

Overall a clean looking boat shoe. Branding is kept to the minimum.

From White Mountaineering comes this season a nice Chukka Boot. Available in three colors, the shoe nicely mixes premium materials and the color range is also very strong. The suede and leather uppers come in beige, black and blue. Hiking boot inspired laces give the sneakers a more outdoor look, something the brand is known for.

Two great new jackets have released from the White Mountaineering Spring/Summer 2009 collection. Both are lightweight, have a technical shell and come in nice color combinations. The red jacket features a Gore-Tex SD shell, and contrasting yellow waterproof zippers. The mint blue/pink jacket also features a Gore-Tex shell and a series of pockets on the upper.
