Here comes an interesting new pack from New Balance, celebrating the 2012 Chinese Zodiac Year of the Dragon. The sneaker brand teamed up with Whiz from Japan, Invincible from Taiwan, Mita Sneakers from Japan, Limited Edt from Singapore and NPC from China, each creating a special colorway of the 574 running shoe for the Dragon Pack. While 4 colorways of the sneaker will release, these collaborations for now are only for display purposes, which is a real pity, because they are obviously much stronger than the actual release shoes.

Maybe New Balance changes their mind if you guys ask for a proper release. Check them all out after the jump.

For Fall/Winter 2011 Japanese brand WHIZ gets together with Landscape Products. Together they present three cushions, featuring native pattern designs – a nice decoration any apartment. The cushions are now available from WHIZ’s Tokyo store, Lump.

Japanese brand Whiz teams up with Porter as part of their new Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. As part of the collaboration they present a keycase and a large size backpack. Both are made of nylon, with the backpack featuring a premium leather bottom. Aside from a small white/red label, hinting at the collaboration, branding has been kept simple and clean, with the product itself taking center stage. Both pieces are now in stock at Lump.

Whiz is one of those brands that you do not hear as prominently about all the time, compared to the seemingly more established, such as Sophnet, uniform experiment, fragment design and others. Yet Whiz continues to produce strong collections, featuring great outerwear, denim, knitwear and accessories, setting distinct color and pattern accents on their pieces.

Not only NEXUSVII and XLarge, but also Japanese brand Whiz thought it was a good idea to collaborate with Medicom on some Bearbricks for the Holiday 2010 season. While the brand decided to keep the design simple, their 400% and 100% versions of the toy glow in the dark.

Japanese streetwear label whiz offers a look into their impending Fall/Winter 2010 collection. Entitled “Curtain Call,” the line mixes clean wardrobe staples with distinctive Japanese street looks, patterns and colors. Highlights include assorted outerwear and accessories. We get a first look today at the upcoming collaboration between Japanese brand whiz, store mita sneakers and New Balance. They worked on the M576 and it comes in a dark grey/light grey colorway with red accents on the mid-sole. The whiz logo appears on the tongue logo and on the in-sole. The whiz star design has been placed all over the sneaker as well, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the brand. Look out for a release soon. Via Warp.

We get an early look at the “Felicity” varsity jacket from the whiz Spring 2010 Collection. The jacket comes in a red/off white and navy/white colorway, both featuring subtle embroidery details, resulting in an overall solid jacket. The jacket will be released in Janaury 2nd. Via honeyee.

Japanese brand Whiz got together with PHANTACi to celebrate the stores 1rst anniversary. To commemorate the special occasion they collaborated on a series of mesh caps and t-shirts. Both pieces feature the same collaborative logo. The caps come in overall four colorways and the t-shirts are available in two colorways.

Yet another G-Shock collaboration is coming out of Japan. This time whiz worked with G-Shock on their iconic DW-6900FS model. It comes in custom packaging, features a special whiz backlight, logo on the front, as well as engraved on the back.

Japanese brand whiz has released the Crotech Watch. The brand once again tries to change the rules and re-interprets an existing classic. In this case they got inspired by the Rolex Submariner and added a studded bracelet to it, offering the watch in overall three colorways. Japanese store Lump is the flagship store of the Japanese brand Whiz, that we have mentioned before at Highsnobiety already. The store has been renovated and the re-opening is of course being celebrated.
For the occasion Lump got together with Medicom to create some 100% Bearbricks. Furthermore, Whiz got together with Disney and with 7Stars on collaboration t-shirts. The store opens again tomorrow, 2nd of February! Via Honeyee.

Here some new shots of the New Balance P580, a collaboration between Japanese brand Whiz and store Mita Sneakers. It turned out pretty nice with plaid details on the upper, the tongues and the inner lining and matching laces. We are not big fans of the big logo on the ankle, but other than that certainly a nice turn-out.

In the second collaboration between Japanese brand Whiz and Japanese sneaker store Mita sneakers and New Balance, they worked on two new models – a high top and low top P580. Both come featuring some nice custom plaid in a red colorway, mixed in with premium leathers. Certainly something to look out for.
