We are giving you a first look at some of the more interesting pieces of the upcoming Nike Considered Spring 2009 collection. The Huarache 09 comes in a new considered outfit. Most interesting is probably the Pegasus 25 in the new collection, which gives the Pegasus a much more modern appeal and look. It is lighter and overall produced with more environment friendly materials. Another piece that we liked a lot was the Considered Windrunners – it is made of 100 percent recycled polyester.

We are getting closer to the release of the Bodega Boston x Saucony Courageous release. The store designed three Saucony sneakers and a matching windrunner.

Built on a revamped Courageous TR silhouette, the graphics and matching apparel were inspired by regional high school uniforms. Updates include reflective 3M, ballistic nylon and premium leathers in colours which transition from morning to night, reflecting the punishing training regime of long distance runners.

The Bodega x Saucony sneakers and windrunner will be released very soon so keep your eyes open for the release.

As reported by us last week, the Original Fake/Kaws x Nike Air Max pack would be accompanied by some apparel. It seems like the apparel only released in Japan, but we cannot confirm that. The Air Max pack dropped over the weekend and therefore we can also finally give you some detailed images of the split windrunner and the t-shirt that released along with the sneakers.

The split windrunner comes in black with neon yellow accents and mesh lining. The upper part features the Kaws cross eye design. The t-shirt also comes in black and features neon yellow stitching. The Nike logo is featured on one sleeve, the cross eye design by Kaws on the other sleeve. The Air Max 90 out of the pack is printed on the front and back of the t-shirt. Just this morning we previewed the Kaws/Original Fake x Nike Air Max’s, here now a first small look at some apparel that will be released along with the sneakers. It seems like there will be a windrunner and t-shirts in the same colorways as the sneakers. More info upon release.

Nike Sportswear got together with Japanese retailer Beams. The two collaborated on two windrunners. One comes in black with skull graphic, the other one comes in navy/red.

Look out for these to release in the coming weeks.

UK brand Trainerspotter and UK store End got together to work on the Waxed Trail Jackets. Coming in classic windrunner looks, the hooded jacket comes with a waxed cotton outer shell. The jacket is lined with a checked cotton lining for extra warmth and also features a metal zip, and an updated Trainerpostter logo on the chest.

It comes in two colorways and is available now exclusively at End.

Dr. Romanelli got together with Nike Mexico on a crossover piece. The artist/designer worked on a classic Nike windrunner and gave it his usual treatment, involving high quality leathers and many little details.

The Dr. Romanelli Vs. Nike Sportswear jacket is an exclusive to the Nike Sportswear 1902 store in Mexico City.

This week we intended the opening of the Roger Federer Installation at the Nike 0808 Store in Berlin. Graphic design agency Plus 41 created the installation, celebrating both the Olympic Games and also the birthday of the tennis superstar. The event was hosted by Nike and Artschoolvets.

Essentially Plus41 created a series of logos, each standing for a moment in the career of Roger Federer. A little while ago we presented you the flywire windrunnerand longsleeve that came featuring the very same artwork.

Just like a timeline, the logos guide you through the career of Federer, making it an interesting installation for sure. Should you be in Berlin any time soon, make sure to check it out.

As an exclusive homage for Roger Federer’s birthday, Nike got together with artistcollective Plus 41 to create a special Nike Sportswear Flywire Windrunner, along with some other product.
Nike Sportswear official launch took place on 08.08.08 too; as a homage to one of the best and most well known tennis players in the world, Nike created a very special Gift Pack in collaboration with the Swiss artist collective ‘+41’. Here we present you the windrunner and the longsleeve shirt out of the pack.
What makes Roger Federer gift pack pretty unique are the exclusive graphic symbols created by +41 collective, showcasing the most important moments of his life as well as the biggest success stories of his career: for example there is a double merging ‘W’, which stands for his first Grand –Slam victory in Wimbledon in 2003. A perspective tennis court showed as an arrow with a crown on its peak, demonstrates his way to the long-lasting number one of the Tennis world class. And a symbol made of three tennis balls, lying on top of each other is the symbol for the family. Further there is a graphic of four swung into each other hearts, which symbolizes Roger Federer’s love for his girlfriend Miroslava (Mirka) Vavrinec. In total ten of these graphics decorate Windrunner and Tee.
the Nike Sportswear special Gift Pack was handed over to Roger Federer at the launch event of the Nike Sportswear Store opening in New York City, 21^st Mercer Street. This moment was captured by + 41 and will be displayed in an installation in the exhibition space of the Berlin 0808-store (Münzstraße 20, Berlin) in September. More on that soon.

Developed for the Solebox Asics Gel Lyte III sneaker that will be releasing in a weeks time, Solebox presents a matching windrunner jacket in collaboration with Asics. The jacket features a double layer on the upper, with a purple mesh lining.
The jacket is limited to 100 pieces worldwide and will be released along with the sneaker on August 23rd.
